I bought this item as I only drink ice water and was tired of having to walk to the kitchen to get filtered water refills. I fill it about a third full with ice, top off with filtered water. I don't have to add ice back to it for about 8 hours if I top off the water a few times. If I fill it and then get called away, it's still had some ice floating around 24 later. Great product, I just ordered another one for my mom for coffee, I hope it does as well with heat.

We used them initially for hot chocolate at an outdoor party. Our drinks stayed super hot for hours! We even had one pot that didn’t get emptied that night, the next morning when I realized it wasn’t empty, I opened it up to find hot chocolate that was STILL hot!! Couldn’t believe it! Would definitely recommend this product!

I brewed up some coffee for an event. Not many people wanted coffee so I took it home. Wanted to see if the coffee would stay hot. I tested it, 2 hours-hot, 4 hours- hot, 24 hours later the coffee was luke warm. I froze the coffee into cubes. But to my surprise this did keep the coffee hot for a long time.

**Update** 11/12/19The therma now has a rust spot on the inside. Like as if it had a tiny puncture inside. I wash this seperate from everything else and use a bottle brush to clean the inside of it. So nothing rough or sharp has every come in contact with it. I still use it and it still stays hot but found it odd that a tiny rust spot has formed since it is still fairly new. Just 3 months. Guess for other buys, just keep an eye out.(08/24/19)I bought this solely to hold hot water to add to loose leaf tea/concentrated brew tea. I drink something called yerba mate which is loose leaf tea put into a special designed cup for it, sugar on top, then you add hot water every time you want to refill the cup. Or I use red loose leaf tea in a french press, to make a concentrated amount and add hot water to it in the cup. I had a plastic thermos where you would have to loosen the top to pour anything out but sadly the gaskets around the top worn down and it would leak out the hot air, some of the hot water if tipped while closed and get cold fast. I went on a search for a new one and found this one. Yes it pours out slow, so for those who want a quick cup of hot coffee, this may be frustrating but for me this is perfect. I can not tell you how many times i have overfilled a cup of yerba mate to end up burning my hand with the water because it poured out of something too fast. This makes it perfect for me. I only need the water to stay 1-4 hours hot, so if this is suppose to last up to 6 hours then thats perfectly fine with me as well.Would just highly recommend washing it several times over. I washed it with hot water from the sink and soap. I thought i got everything. Went to add hot water to tea and there was still a funny flavor. So added soap to the hot water already in it, shook it up and then poured about half of it out through the top, then opened it to rinse out the rest. Let it sit to air dry a bit and hope the next round I give it go, there wont be a odd flavor. I know with new things it may take a while for scents or flavors to go away. Will do my best to update this post a few days later as to how it is working out so far. Hope this review helps those who may be looking into the item.Update: I wrote the review above around 9 am. Around 10 am I gave it another try. Funny taste was gone. Used up maybe half of the hot water i put into it. I left it alone, sitting on a smaller table next to me. I decided to toss out my old tea and clean the cup with left over water if the water was still hot. Its 10:43 Pm now and when i poured some out to touch it, it was still pretty hot. Very very happy with this order. Would buy again and recommend to others.

I love my new “Tea” carafe. I NEED tea as soon as my feet hit the floor! The 10 minutes it takes each morning seemed like a lifetime!!Now I fill the carafe with piping hot tea before I go to bed, and it’s still very hot when I wake up 8 hours later. In seconds, I have my morning tea x 5!!!

I was having an end of summer bash, pancake and coffee breakfast next morning. Needed something to keep the coffee hot and coming. Left over coffee remained super hot for hours!! Love it! Easy to use, easy to clean! Have used it also for a bachelor party, and everyone asked where I got it! Great purchase, arrived on time and well packed!! Def would buy again!

Liquid passes through an opening in the lid while pouring. There is no way to clean the inside of the lid other than pouring hot soapy water through it. It is spring loaded and there is no way to get a tiny brush in there. Poor design. Downright nasty. This is the reason for giving a bad rating. Everything else about the product is great: holds the heat extremely well, easy to pour, looks nice. But it is not sanitary. Especially if your beverage contains cream... My parents live downstairs in their own house. The kitchen is upstairs. When they make morning coffee they have a hard time going up and downstairs. With this thermos container they make a pot of coffee bring it downstairs and keep it there for the day. They are very happy with it, and it looks good.

I used for the first time the other day and it kept my tea and coffee hot all day. This is so practical when you have a crowd around because it holds almost two pots of coffee

Well worth the money. It keeps the water as hot as when I put it in for at least two hours.

Great carafe for the money

Keeps liquids hot. The lid is tricky to clean and gets smelly after a few uses.

I was disappointed that this carafe doesn’t keep tea hot enough to enjoy for very long. No more than an hour and tea needs reheating
