Everyone Needs a Good One
I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my son and son-in-law for Christmas. They are both new home owners and it was practical and much appreciated. We have used Craftsman tools in the past and it is very good quality.

Replacement for hubby

It's bigger than yours
Do you need to prove you are the man at your job site? Do you need to let everyone know that you have standards and won't settle for a dollar store tape measure? Do you need to let everyone know yours is bigger than theirs? Then this is the tape measure for you! Be the alpha male at your job and buy this tape measure.But seriously, it's a good tape measure. I use it at work every day. It's a little heavy but very durable.Update: After two months of heavy daily use the tape has started to split. Although this will hold up to plenty of DIY use and even light professional use, I will need to get a replacement soon. 4/5.

Nice tape measure, easy to use and locks great. But it is not made in USA as described.

Sturdy and easy to use.
I purchesed the one Made in the USA. It is sturdy and durable. Easy to operate. Feels solid in your hand. It seems like it is made to last. I expect many years of service from this one. I previously bought cheaper ones but they flop and the retractable spring wears out.

Good solid tape measure
Just inches so not cluttered with 2 scales. 30' long for those times when 25' just won't quite make it. I have used this for awhile and like it. Only 4 stars because, if you are working with gloves, the end catch is not long enough to get hold of.
