Nice for smaller kitchen island pendants
Sleek design, using two in my kitchen where a center island would be. Happy with quality for the price. Easy to install.

Excellent Little Milky White Globes, Just Ok Cord
I'm very happy with these lights overall, and have only 2 minor gripes.THE GOOD:The globe itself is made of a thick, milky white glass. I was worried they might be made of a cheap, more plastic-y material that wasn't opaque enough, but no, it's real, legit glass. I got the small 8" ones and they were pretty heavy. I'm using traditional, frosted 60w bulbs and that creates a pleasing diffuse light when turned on, so they just look like a couple of mod, glowing orbs. There's a little metal bit at the top where the cord attaches, but you don't see the bulbs at all. Classy! (Ok ok, I know exposed Edison bulbs with big visible filaments in clear glass is all the rage now and perhaps more legitimately 'classy', but I'm not about to start paying $10 each for fancy lightbulbs. These are nice fixtures, and they look good with cheap bulbs.)GRIPES:1. Installation Instructions could have been better. There are a series of pieces you have to string on the cord in the correct order, and it isn't completely obvious which way they should go. My advice is to MAKE SURE you've got everything on in the correct order BEFORE you wire it up. I had to unhook and redo the whole thing because I mixed up a couple of pieces that secure the globe to the fixture. That said, if you've installed any sort of overhead light before, then you'll probably be able to figure this out. It ain't rocket science, but a little diagram that showed you the correct way to do it would have been appreciated.2. The cord itself is a bit thick and stiff. Since it's curled up for shipping, it ends up having a little bit of a curl to it, even after you hang the lights. I thought this would even out after hanging the globes, but it didn't completely. You can see in the photo that there's a slight curve to the cords. I don't think anybody actually notices, but it bothers me a little. The larger, heavier globes probably weigh enough to smooth this out, but these little guys don't. So a higher quality cord, maybe one of those woven fabric covered ones would have been nice, but not a big problem. That's always something I could source on my own anyway.

Awesome
We have vaulted ceilings in our bedroom, with track lighting. I didn't like the feel of the "spotlight" track lighting that we had, so we ordered these lights to use as pendant lighting. We ordered 5. My husband, then, fabricated a piece to allow these pendants to be attached to the track lighting system already hooked up to the ceiling. The lights do not include a white pole. However, the lights are heavy enough to straighten the thick, white wire they hang from within a few days. It's been a few months since we put these lights up and you seriously cannot tell they don't hang by white poles. The wires they hang from are around 6 feet in length. You can trim them to the length that you need.SHIPPING:We received within a week of ordering. Very well packaged. All pieces were present and nothing was cracked- which says a lot considering we ordered 5 of them. I would order from this company again.

Cheap overpriced garbage
I can’t believe so many gave this a positive review. It is such cheap plastic and the shiny “glass” is so thin and lightweight with visible lines on it that it looks like something from Dollar Tree. I would consider saying it was a good value if it was under $15. But for $80 this is insane! There are far better options in this price range. Only buy this to look at it if you have a good return policy.

Love it! But pay attention to instructions
Read directions! I didn’t and had to redo twice, but that’s all on me... Looks terrific, looks waay more expensive that it was. Clean crisp white glass globe, I absolutely love it.

Nice product ruined by defective glass globe
Basically an OK product, but the top rim of the glass globe has a 1/2 circle blob of glass on its outside top edge making it impossible for the top metal cover to fit tightly. That leaves an unsightly gap on one side of the globe between the metal cover and the glass globe that can easily be seem from below. Not only is it ugly, but the lack of a tight seal of metal against glass will allow bugs to get into the globe, forcing extra cleaning that would normally not be needed with long life LED bulbs. There are other minor problems. The top fixture shield is smaller than most, leaving a ring of exposed paint that was once covered by the old ceiling plate. You might want to save your old cover and paint it flat white to match in reuse. The glass globe itself is very thin and will be more likely to break than other versions of this basic ceiling lamp, so be careful handling it. The mounting hardware for the electrical box is great, with thicker, stronger metal than most.

Good Quality Fixture - Patience Needed
The aesthetic and the quality of the fixture are great- my only piece of advice for other shoppers is have patience. The wire is coiled and packed into the box with enough force to kink the cord at the adjustment fitting. You can try to relax the cord by hand, but in my experience, the kink is so aggressive that the hanging light fixture appears to be offset a degree or two after installation. I have had mine installed for about a month and the cord is finally starting to relax to the point where it doesn't scratch my record every time I walk by and look at it. Super minor, I'm sure most wouldn't even see it, but for the few that do; be patient.
