GVWessel-Werk EBK 360 Powerhead

I got this to replace a broken powerhead that was about 5 years old. It works well with my Beam Central Vacuum system.I broke my old one by trying to replace the drive belt. This belt is buried deep within the system and the roller fits into a plastic slot. After removing many many screws to get the roller out and slide a new belt on, I broke the plastic frame in which the roller sits. Actually, I broke it while working with a mechanic that services these things.The powerhead height can be adjusted through 5 levels which is very useful since I have found that each level is most useful for different surfaces. However, raising the height above level 3 is difficult and it is necessary to reach level 5 to cycle back down. This problem was present in both my old and new powerheads. It appears that pressing the lever to raise the height also puts pressure on the mechanism making it difficult to raise the head. It is possible to overcome the negative pressure by tilting the powerhead onto its nose while pressing the height adjustment button. That is an awkward process.

Worked great and was a perfect fit for an old silver king.Lasted about a year and started shorting out, (brush turning on and off during normal operation).Now doesn't function at all.

I modified for use by swapping the swivel neck on my Miele to with parts from a Miele SEB 228. Works great and now I have a LED lights on the power head.
