Ma (DVD) [2019]

Great little movie, that was bought on a whim. Unnerving, unsettling & having empathy with the main character for what she went through. Great acting from all the cast, with a good story too. Everything you need from a horror

Saw it was £4.99 it was a must !

My husband and I thought the film was great. Even though it's quite predictable, it was entertaining. We also felt sorry for Ma for what she's been through when she was a teenager, and later when she was bullied by her boss. Definitely recommended 👍

I bought this by mistake (I thought it was the 2018 Asian horror movie directed by Kenneth Lim Dagatanbut!). I'm glad I did though as it is a slow burner that gathers pace throughout towards its grisly finale. It is no slasher movie so will disappoint those expecting cheap gore and lots of kills. Too bad. Octavia Spencer's performance as "Ma" is excellent.

Oh wow now this was a great DVD to watch 2× up to now, lent to my Auntie even she enjoyed it, I won't say any details as don't want to ruin it for anyone else,,,,,, but it's a must watch xx
