Great booties for the price.
My wife needed a new pair of dive booties for our annual trip lobstering in the Keys. I bought these for her and she loved them. They have a great sole on the bottom. It's both thick and textured so that walking is comfortable and your foot is protected. The zipper is high quality and easy to operate. When wearing these with fins, they did a great job of supporting and protecting her feet from rash and chaffing. I did order then a size smaller than her shoe size (6) and the fit perfectly. I'd highly recommend!

Would buy again
I have used these for white water rafting and doing work in and around my lake. They are still pretty comfortable and are holding up well. If I lost these I would definitely buy again.

Great for kayak fishing.
I bought them to keep my feet warm when kayaking this spring but they are great for protecting my feet when I step in the water when getting in and out of the kayak. Zipper has held up and they are easy to get in and out of considering they are neoprene.

Handled everything I asked of them!
Exactly what I was hoping for. I needed a pair of shoes for a couple weeks of field work in the marshes of Louisiana, and I don't think I could have asked for something better than these. They successfully (1) stayed on my feet, even when walking knee-deep in mud, (2) were comfortable in and out of the water, (3) had good traction on the boat, and (4) dried completely by the next day for use again. Will be strongly recommending these to my colleagues.Other details: I typically wear an 11.5 shoe, and I rounded down to an 11 to make sure they wouldn't slide off my feet (I actually returned a pair of the 12's just to be sure), and I think that was probably the right size. The toe-box felt a bit small the first couple times I wore 'em, but I either broke them in or just got used to it, because that stopped bothering me after day 2. I bought the 5mm for durability, and even in August in Louisiana they weren't too warm (granted, they were usually wet, which helps). I almost always wore them with some of those lycra diving socks (the Bren SL ones, also on Amazon), which I think increased the comfort a lot, so I recommend others do the same if their application is similar. My only other pro-tip would be to keep a pair of flip-flops with you. These dry quickly, but not *that* quickly, so it was nice to have some extra faster-drying shoes for the boat/drive back home.

Velcro to keep zipper up = essential!
I wear a women's 6 and decided to get a size 5 (yes, these are men's sizes). I debated getting a 4 since I read that the conversion between Mens and women's shoe sizes is 1.5 so womens 6 = Mens 4.5. I also read many mixed reviews, some saying these run small and others saying they run big. I'm so glad I decided to order a size up (definitely recommend ordering a size up as you can fill the extra space with neoprene socks or something, but you can't add space). These definitely run a bit small, considering I should be a 4.5, a 5 should be roomy on me. These fit perfectly, too perfectly. My toes touch the end/front of the water shoe, so it is snug but not uncomfortable. I would prefer they be a little looser, but it wasn't that big of a deal for me to deal with the hassle of exchanging them.I have thicker calves, so these felt like they were almost cutting off my circulation when wearing them out of the water. They loosen a bit and become more comfortable when wet. They can and do fill with water sometimes and it is quite hard to empty the water. The neoprene becomes like leather (tight and wants to stick to the skin/your body) so you don't want to pull the whole shoe off because it will be difficult to put them back on. I just unzipped the shoe and lifted my leg as high as I could to let the water spill out (but many people may not be able to do that). The soles are a bit thinner than I hoped, but I walked across rocks (large boulders, river rocks, pebbles, etc) without a problem. You feel the rocks and such, but unless it's sharp, it doesn't hurt. They provide a good amount of protection and I hope they hold up well when I use them in Hawaii next week. These look so much better than your typical water shoes, plus they can be used with fins (which I have a hard time fitting comfortably and usually get blisters from, so these will definitely help me with that). The Velcro to keep the zipper up/from falling down as you swim is essential! My brother has a much nicer pair of water shoes (for cold water scuba diving) and his don't have anything to keep the zipper from falling down, so he recommended that I make sure there was a feature to keep this from happening. Many people may not think much of it, but it is one perk you will come to truly appreciate! It's great that it comes with such an affordable pair of water shoes.

Finally!
Finally, boots for someone with narrow feet! If you’re like me with narrow feet and the corresponding ankles, these are the ones for you. I haven’t actually been in the water with them yet. That said, upon visual inspection, the seams look good and sturdy.

Leaky
Because description said "special water entry barrier that prevents water exchange" I was hoping there would be no leaking before top of boot at least for a few seconds, and it looks to be made that way. Use for kayaking and try to avoid getting feet wet when possible before entry. These do have that barrier, but the sewn seam itself leaks immediately. This would be fine if you are getting wet anyway. I guess its another purchase I will have to modify. Also wish the velcro tab had more bite to haul tighter.

Quality very good. Better than expected. Rigth size. My feet feels comfortable. It serves for rocky soil.
