This is a rope. It works very will for tying things together, or towing small boats, or dangling things from higher things. It can be coiled neatly for easy transportation, or laid out straight if one wishes to measure the distance between two points in units of rope-lengths. It has a good feel, high strength, takes knots nicely, and is rot and moisture resistant. It becomes shorter when cut.I use mine for general purposes having to do with sea kayaks, and camping, and camping with sea kayaks. It is perfect for this use and many others.

Easily supports massive weight compared to it’s size

I am using this as an anchor line for my Hobie PA14 kayak. Honestly, it's probably overkill for my application and definetly thicker than i wanted, but that's my fault. I may buy something thinner in the spring for my anchor and use this for something else. It's nice rope, seems plenty strong, just a little thicker than i wanted, but again, that's probably because i couldn't visualize what the diameter would be like simply from reading the size

I picked orange so it could easily be seen. It does the job I wanted and can be seen so people don't trip over my awning tie-down lines.

Listing says 1/4 or 5/16 and I was fine with either of those… but what I got was 1/8. Unusable and useless to me. Super bummed.(In my photos the black is 1/4 and the brown that ordered from here is 1/8)
