This canister is well-made - sturdy, but not too heavy. It's easy to clean, as the rubber seal is removable, allowing you to be able to rinse the groove in the lid, or clean it out with a small brush. The design is simple and modern so it looks great in the kitchen or wherever you want to put it. The size is just right for storing dry foods such as rice, flour, sugar, etc. - it would also make a great cookie jar! We're using it for keeping fermented rice bran for making Japanese pickles - so it's great for preserving the rice bran, and for keeping the not-so-pleasant odor from smelling up the kitchen. :-)

I have bought three of these so far. The largest container is perfect for storing coffee and this one is perfect for about 1lb of leaf tea.This Covid year of 2020 we have been doing a huge spring clean of all our rooms and the kitchen was one of the biggest jobs. As part of simplifying and eliminating clutter that seems to take over our house in ever recurring tornado cycles I decided to eliminate all the various storage containers I had for tea and coffee. Part of that involves getting rid of some of the variety I had of food. In the end I decided on one jar of whole bean coffee, one jar of black tea, one jar of green tea and one for red hibiscus tea. I have them organized in four of these elegant and simple white jars. Hopefully this time my system will stand the test of time!

I was looking for a container to keep my dog's food in that would also look nice on the counter. This fits several days' worth of food and seals well, so you can't smell a thing. You do have to twist the lid to get it to seal properly, but it's not a deal breaker considering the quality and simple aesthetics. I was thinking of getting something made for the purpose of storing dog kibble, but they were all ugly as sin, except for something from Simple Human that was huge (definitely not for the counter) and expensive and had some negative reviews for plastic parts breaking. I also appreciate that the ceramic surface will just be easier to really wash out as needed.

The ceramic container is great and well made. The size is a little smaller than I would’ve liked but I couldn’t seem to find a larger one similar to this one. The suction could be a bit stronger but it works well. I recently purchased clear glass canisters for my grains, sugar, and flour but I wanted a ceramic one for the dog food and this one works well. The look of the white and the bamboo looks beautiful and modern and works perfectly with my kitchen decor. Would definitely but other products from this shop again.

The bamboo and ceramic canisters are a perfect combination for clean and modern look. We bought two of them for sugar and creamer jars for a coffee station. They fit perfectly in a bamboo tray we bought from Ikea. These items are easy to clean, study and large enough to not have to refill too often but not too large to be obtrusive.The only complaint is that the rubber seals are different sizes which makes the one have less of a seal and feel less secure (especially if you lift by the lid). The company was quick to respond and will be sending me another canister to replace the one with the poor seal (although shipping just a seal would be more cost effective).All in all I am happy with the product and expect they will last for a long time.

I was looking for a good sturdy airtight ceramic jar to store my sourdough starter in. This was reasonably priced and I was very pleased when it arrived. It is perfect for feeding and stirring my bread starter. The lid fits great and I love the clean white look with the wooden lid. Perfect if you are a sourdough bread maker or would also be nice to store coffee beans or snacks. Great product!!

I ordered several similar white ceramic jars but this was the one I kept. Still sturdy, it was a bit lighter in weight, the lid was a light bamboo, and it had the best air seal while still easy to put on and off. I'm using this to store my lil pups' dog food and it's the perfect size since they both eat less than a cup of food a day.

Product as described. Had issues at first getting an air tight seal - you just need to twist the lid a bit while closing to get it to seal completely. Love the look of this canister
