Not only is it a cute house in an interesting color and my bees love it. I can't address the sturdiness until I see if it lasts through the winter. It appears to be a good value.

I was looking for a bee house to replace an old one that got lots of use. I didn't want anything painted or metal, just natural wood, and this fit the bill! The house is great size, with lots of variety in the size of the holes. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the wood is rough and not sanded smooth, and some of the tubes can slide in and out. I was able to push them into a more sturdy position and all seems well for now!

This bee house for native bees is exactly what I was looking for. It is very well made, solid construction. The pink color looks great in my garden. I think bees are attracted to the color. I have a native oak tree in my backyard, as well as some California native bushes and grasses. I want to attract wildlife to my garden, and this bee house will attract bees. Native bees will help to pollinate my fruit trees and vegetable garden, too. So I am very happy with this purchase and I plan to buy another one to put on the other side of my backyard.

Unfortunately many of the bamboo pieces have only tiny holes that NO mason bee can fit through. I had to personally drill out about 1/4 of all the pieces. Furthermore, many of the larger rods have openings only 1 - 1 .5 inched deep. Mason bees need to lay their eggs 4-5 inches deep. The bamboo rods are not secured in the house. Many fell out as the house was tipped forward. It does not include a hook for hanging, rather there is a wire loop on the back that can be placed on a hook. This item is more for looks and not an appropriate item for truly nurturing mason bees.

Nice design, easy to place. Bee box, provide protected homes for my yard bees 🐝.

I had my doubts at first as it took a while for the first bee to get inside. But now it's visited :) Great quality for a season or two for this price, but must come inside for winter... not that sturdy. Will now go bigger knowing that bees will visit these bamboo homes!!!

I like the color and style, it's built well. But, the tubes are very very very large. The mason bees flew around it, but used the 2 other bee houses I have instead. So far, no bees have used this one. I will probably change the tubes for smaller ones. I would not buy this again.
