Clive Christian X Perfume Spray for Men 1.7 oz.

I had never heard of this fragrance before, it was requested by my boyfriend. I must admit that when he first put it on, it was kinda odd smelling at first. But the more it mixed with his body chemistry I guess, the better it smelled. And it smelled really good and the scent lasted all day.

It's an unusual scent, something you are not going to meet at the mass fragrance production, even though I was expecting something more magic and sophisticated.The top notes are perfect, pink pepper well balanced with bergamot and cardamom which mellow the sour notes.After one hour, I can smell only pepper and cinnamon. Not a bad scent but I was expecting something more.Longevity and silage are moderate and the odor stays close to your skin with discretion.Not a bad choice though it's unique, dark and spicy. Compare to the price, it's a big dilemma

I have quite a few scents in my collection with almost all of the Tom Ford private collection, a few from Creed, a few from Ramon Monegal and even Clive Christian C. In all total I have 130 different scents and I have to say this is one of the most unique there is. To begin with everyone I know who has bought this scent hates it for the first few minutes until it sets up properly and that will take about 10 - 20 minutes and then they love it. I cant even compare it to anything else I have smelled or is out there. To smell it out of the bottle on a paper card will not do any justice to the way this stuff smell and a little spray does go a long way.There are not many places that sell this scent, the Larger stores would be Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. I have also seen Clive Christian in a few boutique stores as well.If you do not want to smell like everyone else this is a great scent. I get asked all of the time what it is and have no problem telling people because I know most of them will never pay for it. The better bottle to buy is the 3.7 ounce. Yes its $450 here on amazon but this scent is intoxicating.The ingredients are listed as follows: Bergamot, spices, cardamom, ginger, and juniper berry, sambac oil, cedarwood, moss, cinnamon, jasmine hedione, pimento oil, orris, amber, vetiver oil and vanilla

Two of us tried on this amazing cologne at Neiman Marcus. Neither of us was impressed at first, smelled expensive but too big. Over the top. About 10 minutes the cologne started to mix with our own body chemistry and the aromas blended into something very rich and unusual. An hour later the cologne's scent was completely different on the both of us still big and powerful.Long lasting and constantly evolving fragrance. Trying to figure out if I can sell my cat to afford a bottle.

so the seller called me at home concerning the first review of the product. his delivery and follow through were what i expected. no problems with the process or the seller. just wasn't all that impressed with the actual perfume. under powered from other perfumes by the same manufacturer. so subtle it's not there, "C" is just so much better. more comments but "X" is not likely to ever be bought again by this consumer. end story, great process, good seller, just not the product i was looking for. not a huge issue or problem.

DEFINITELY a true winner when it comes to fragrances! I have bought fragrances from most of the top niche houses but this one, this one is something SPECIAL. Like most of the previous reviewers have stated the initial spray is almost downright offensive since you get the pepper note ( I believe it's pink pepper ) immediately and only after that initial blast does it settle in. All the other ingredients then settle down and you can truly appreciate this fragrance! My Aunt ( who has a very refined nose ) commented to me yesterday that this is the only scent she can smell on my that mingles with my body chemistry and yes, it lasts well into a few days, especially if sprayed on clothes. Sillage is excellent ( everybody around you can smell it ), Longevity is average for me ( only 3-4 hours ) but when sprayed on my clothes it definitely lingers. The price is the main point of contention for almost everybody, but you do get what you pay for with this fragrance, and like everything else in the world you usually get what you pay for if you pay more, and this fragrance delivers. You can't expect a Bentley at Mercedes' prices, folks. If you want to put your best foot forward scent-wise fork over the greenbacks and buy Clive Christian " X "!
