Sorry, never had a sub from mr submarine. But it is the best I have ever had.

Q: I dont like a strong taste of olive which oil is mild

I only buy original, and there is no strong olive oil taste. The flavor is from the herbs and spices in the oil. Always shake before using to mix up the herbs. It is the best sauce for subs and any sandwiches on a sub roll.

Q: Does this have a sweet and sour flavor to it? I've never tried it before and read that a lot of delis in New Jersey use this type of stuff.

I AM A BORN AND RAISED PITTSBURGH PERSON AND THIS STUFF IS MADE IN PITTSBURGH, IT IS THE BEST!!!!!! IT IS NOT SWEET AND SOUR, IT IS OIL AND VINEGAR LIKE OLD FASHIONED DELI’S USE TO USE. I NOW LIVE IN HAWAII AND MY MOM HAS TO SEND IT TO ME OR I BUY IT ON AMAZON!!! YOU WILL USE IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!
