If you're looking for a fully self contained, recirculating, ready to use right out of the box fine gold recovery system, the Gold Bandit is for you. It is designed for 20 mesh final recovery and can process 1 gallon of heavy concentrates in 1.5 hours. In addition to the simple set up, what really makes this unit different is the vibrating sluice with variable speed motor. Vibration makes black sand rise and gold settle down! The Gold Bandit comes with everything needed to get started on fine gold recovery except for the 12V Battery (not included). You get the unit, pump, recirculation trough, tailings catch tub, 10 inch gold pan, and Jet Dry. Set up the Gold Bandit on a flat and stable surface. Snap the stabilizer plates onto the box, put the sluice discharge edge over the rim of the supplied black tub, connect the pump to the water inlet, toss the pump into the tub and fill it with water. While the tub is filling, insert the vibration and speed control electrical plug into the frame and hook the pump and vibration motor clips to the 12-volt battery. When tub is full, drop in the waste container under the end of the sluice, squirt in some surfactant (Jet Dry) and turn it all on. Adjust the feeder tilt and water flow to get the hang time in the tray just right. Reach around to the back of the machine and flip on the vibration. After running your concentrates, allow the Gold Bandit to run clear. Then grab the sluice firmly at the lower end, lift up, pull the sluice towards the front and remove it from the main body. Then put the sluice tailing end down into a bucket, splash the sluice tray with water, check for any gold left in the matting and place the sluice back into the sluice tray. That's it -- no carpet or removable matting! Takes less than a minute from start to finish and you'll be ready to run more material.
