Original unit had broken Soldering Iron, but Customer Service was great!
I'm relatively new to the skill of soldering. I have a TS-100 that is well used, but it wasn't able to handle XT60 (AWG12) wires, so I picked up this unit.Packaging is really nice. Built quality felt good for the most part, except the soldering iron. It didn't feel "solid". The tip kind of wiggled even while screwed down and none of the included tips fit. I even picked up some Hakko tips and those didn't fit either. Contacted support and they sent me a new soldering iron within a day or so. Just the iron, not the rest of the unit. Turns out with my original iron, the metal sleeve within the pre-installed tip broke off and got stuck in the ceramic heating core's sleeve. The replacement soldering iron feels MUCH more "solid". All of the tips fit nicely on it. After removing my original's broken metal sleeve, that one works too, although it still doesn't feel right, but I'll be keeping it as a backup at least.Managed to unsolder some XT60 wires using this machine with the largest Hakko tip I had (T18-S3). Unit takes a bit to heat up, but it's not super long. Sleep timer for both the iron and rework are adjustable. I've only used the rework for heat shrink, but it does the job well. As mentioned, there's a good number and variety of tips included. They seem ok, but probably should be the first thing you upgrade as their quality seems just ok instead of great. Rework station has 3 included tips itself. A bit of a pain to tighten, but it's fine.Haven't used the power supply at all. So I cannot comment on it.TL;DR: Unit had bad soldering iron. Contacted support and got a replacement quickly. Unit is great for a beginner/hobbyist. A little slow to get up to temp and didn't appear to have a problem keeping temp. Probably think about getting new iron tips in the future.

Nice and Handy.
Works well. Power supply comes in handy. Wish the soldering iron cable was about .5 meters longer for my setup. Heat gun a little weak, but does work. Had some problems switching degrees from C to F, and back. The current meter goes down to 1 Ma which is better than some which lose the last digit.

Awesome, Compact, and Great Price.
Soldering station worked fine, and so did the hot-air station. Have yet to try the rest of the station but will update when that time comes.

Solid Rework Station But Cords Seem A Bit Short
I recently picked up the Yihua 853D 2A rework station, and overall, I'm pretty impressed. It looks and feels well-built, but I did run into a weird issue with the hot air gun right out of the box. It kept giving me an "S-E" error, which turned out to be a simple fix mentioned in the manual (who reads those, right?). Apparently, there are magnets in the holder that need to be aligned with a sensor. Once I cycled the power and followed the instructions, it worked fine. After that initial hiccup, both the soldering iron and hot air gun heated up quickly and performed flawlessly. I even used the hot air gun to remove a GPU chip from an old PS3 board, and it came off cleanly with no damage. The built-in power supply is accurate, and the included accessories are surprisingly good – I liked them all. It also comes with a solder sucker and some lead-free solder, but for desoldering, I prefer my trusty YiHua 929D-V Electric Desoldering Soldering Iron or, for bigger jobs, my Aoyue 2703A+ SMD Professional Repair & Rework Station.I chose this model over the newer 853D 3A mainly because of the price difference. The extra amp on the 3A didn't seem worth it for my needs. My only real complaint is that the cords for the iron and hot air gun could be a bit longer, especially if you're used to stations with more cord length. If you're looking for a reliable rework station for home projects and DIY repairs, the Yihua 853D 2A is a great option. Just be sure to read the manual to avoid any initial frustrations, and you'll be good to go!---Product: YiHua 853D 2A USB SMD Hot Air Rework Soldering Iron Station, DC Power Supply 0-15V 0-2A with 5V USB Charging Port and 35 Volt DC Voltage Test MeterASIN: B07S4GPM66

Almost perfect
Let me preface this by saying that for the money you are hard pressed to find a better 3-in-1 unit. The fit and finish is outstanding. The unit looks and feels well made. The controls are easy to operate and adjusting the unit for temperature and unit are super easy. Both the iron and hot air gun heat up super quick and stay a relatively consistent temp. The iron did not drop temp quickly when making several joints in quick succession. All the extras you get along with the kit are a nice touch, albeit not top quality. The rosin you get is solid rosin. You can use it this way, or dissolve it in isopropyl alcohol to make a liquid flux. I don't really have a use for the IC popper, but the tweezers and copper wick work well. I did not receive the additional soldering tips as the listing would suggest I should have, just the one that came pre-installed on the iron.My only gripe is that my particular unit would never calibrate accurately. Initially, 350 degrees Celsius on the unit would show as 305-310 degrees when measured with a Klein multi-meter which I trust. After calibrating on the unit I was now getting 380-390 degrees. After going back and forth a few times I've settled for 360 degrees actual temp when the unit indicates 350 degrees. Close enough.Overall, if you are a soldering hobbyist this unit provides an excellent value assuming yours comes with all the extras. Not sure how well this would hold up in an industrial/commercial setting where it is used every day. Hopefully it will last for many years.EDIT: 4/6/2020. Yihua sent the replacement tips that I was missing from the box. Excellent customer service!
