Good doggy run
Works great but no matter what I tried it keeps sagging in the middle.

More cable than I needed
Pulley runs free, never snags, it allows the dog to chase squirrels and birds

Last 6 Months with a 50 Pound Dog
The kit came with everything that was needed to create a 100 foot dog run. It didn’t come with a turn buckle to tighten the cable, but it had shock absorbing spring on one end. I was able to pull the cable tight enough between a 4x4 post and tree. The dog run work well for about 6 months, but then started to stretch as my puppy grew to 50 pounds. If my dog wasn’t as energetic, I’m sure it would have lasted longer. In the end I replaced it was a dog run rated for dog over 50 pounds.

The spring had broken around 3 months
Was working fine until around 3 months the tensioning spring broke rendering it useless. Would not buy this product again.

Could be a little more strudy
Now that we have revamped a few things it works good. But our 1 1/2 old GSD broke it 3 times

Pretty good
It could be easier to set up but all in all it serves its purpose!

Needs a turnbuckle
Bought this to use for our lab mix. I did a lot of research and decided to go with this one. There are extras you should get if you buy this set. I would definitely recommend getting a turnbuckle to adjust the cable tension but it's not necessary. Also I would get a bungee leash for your dog instead of using another cable to attach to the run. This set itself is nice. I'm only giving it 4 stars because there are definitely some improvements that could be made, but overall it's fairly good quality.I did ultimately ended up returning this set because I could not find a way to make it safe enough for my dog. I tried using a harness, but he found ways to get the cable wrapped around his neck that attached to the run cable. I adjusted the length, but then he couldn't lay down(maybe a bungee leash would have been better to use?). I tried a collar instead of a harness and that was better because it spun around his neck instead of getting tangled, but then I felt uncomfortable leaving him out unsupervised. My suggestion is to do some trial and error before leaving your dog out on a cable run unsupervised. I didn't think it was a big deal before buying it, but it's definitely something that could cause some real problems.
