children's educational book
Inky Ink is small & a cute splashy creature made out of ink.He wants to make friends/playmates but they don’t want anything to do with him. Will Inky Ink finally be loved/accepted by others?I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written children’s educational book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational movie, a classroom presentation, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; Old Map Books; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

An original and charming bedtime story
Inky Makes New Friends is a delightful and charming book for the younger reader. I read it with my grand kids and they loved not only the story, but also the amazing illustrations by Elona Bezooshko. I thought the text and illustrations worked very well together.Author Riley Morgan writes in a wonderful, simple and imaginative style that will guarantee the attention of young minds. If you ever wanted to bond even more with your children or grandchildren, this would be a lovely story to share with them.It seems to me that this book was created with a lot of love and joy and it’s clear that the author really enjoys creating such wonderful stories. ‘Helping to create the social skills that are lacking in our digital era.’
Author and former journalist Riley Morgan appears to be making his publishing debut with INKY MAKES NEW FRIENDS and since he adds ‘Inky’s Bedtime Tales Book 1’ to his title it appears we are hopefully in for more stories of this high quality. Riley is aided and abetted by the illustration gifts of Elona Bezooshko. In addition to being a very well written and illustrated bedtime story, this book has significant impact as it is a story about social tolerance, accepting what is different and embracing the other, shared n a manner that makes the meaning accessible to all children (and parents!).Inky is an ink blot who wants to make friends but is shied away from by others because he is dirty and looks weird. Inky is sad and lonely until he encounters Muddy – a cute lump of mud. He is happy and invites inky to join him and play – and they become Friends. Both are happy until a large cloud of dust arises – and other unhappy lonely wannabe friend introduces herself as Dusty. Dusty is lonely and sad because she has no friends – until Inky and Muddy welcome her as a friend. Now Inky could go to bed at the end of the day and be happy - because he has found friends.Completely charming little story with a fine teaching message. This should do very well as the beginning of a series of children’s books. Highly recommended. Grady Harp, July 18

Sweet and simple children's story
This is a simple bedtime story with funny friends that play together and learn to count and some math basics. The story begins with Inky on a lazy Sunday morning. Inky goes out with his friends and carries a bag containing ten marbles to play with. On the way he meets a little girl with a teddy bear, a police woman with a few shirt buttons missing and a lonely little boy. Inky helps them by sharing his marbles with them. In the process, kids can also learn some math as Inky gives out more marbles. The story ends with the sun setting and children leaving to go home after a long day of play. Inky is also going to bed and eases into sleep. The book is a simple, fun read and got an immediate place in our bedtime reading list.

Loved it!
I love Inky ! He looks wavy and blue with a giant smile on him and those dreamy eyes ! Inky is a very helpful creature with a sympathetic heart and captivating innocence. He is willing to share his favorite marbles with others in need. Kids can learn empathy ans sharing from Inky, which are valuable life lessons in today's world. On the way, kids also learn some math basics and quantities like a lot and few. Inky makes learning a kind of a fun adventure as he meets new people and makes more friends. These are the kind of books to read to our kids at night to teach them valuable life lessons in a fun and imaginative way. The illustrations were vivid and cute and the instructive pages were clear. I recommend this book for young children.

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER
This is a cute bedtime or read-aloud story for preschoolers or kindergarten children. Inky wakes up feeling happy, but his mood soon changes when everyone he meets looks down on him and refuses to play with him. Then he comes across a blob of mud who appears to be very happy. Muddy tells Inky that he likes to run, play, dance, and jump. Inky asks to be friends and Muddy agrees. They have a grand time together. Suddenly a cloud named Dusty comes along and asks both to be a friend. No one wants to play with Dusty because she is too big. Dusty is jubilant when they make it a threesome. Now they all have friendship and companionship. This is a cute story to teach young children the value of individual differences. The layout is a bit difficult to read with some of the sentences cut short and the font size varies in size and color. This plot does contain an important message that individual differences are what makes one special. Do not judge a possible friend by physical characteristics. Have an open mind and give new acquaintances a chance. Recommended for preschoolers.
