Indications Our stones are natural basalt without chemical waxes/coatings. They will turn black once they are oiled. Basalt suitable for hot stone massage is normally grey. Although black basalt does exist, it is rare for it to be suitable for hot stone massage as it is mostly much too grainy. Some manufacturers use chemical waxes or coatings to give grey basalt a black appearance. This has the additional downside of making the stones lose the natural "grippiness" thay have with the connective tissue. Safety Warning Contraindications for hot stone massage: When massage is contraindicated; Anyone in a weakened state; Autoimmune dysfunctions/immuno-suppressed; conditions where brain/nervous system are challenged; Anyone on prescription medications that may have side effects due to the heat; Anyone who is elderly or has thin skin; Anyone who is a young child; Heart disease; Pregnancy; Recent surgery; Nerve damage/neuropathy; For anyone who seems energetically blocked use a moderate temperature.

Okish
Ok but wouldn't buy again. After only couple use there is already some rust on the bottom of the heater even tho I always use towel to protect the metal from the stones. Doesnt heat up well - the stones are not hot enough even on the highest heat setting.

Totally different colours than the pic advertised
Totally different colours than advertised!bought this colour as I thought it would go well in my salon, totally different to the picture 😲,when I phoned to talk to someone was told everyone had gone home at 3.30 so spend 3 days messaging asking for a email so I could show them pictures ,but they were not interested in seeing the difference ,is the total opposite look to what I was looking for and not free returns ,
