Can't listen to music while lightning cable is plugged in.
The device won't allow me to plug both headphones and a power cord in. When I do, the car stereo reacts as if I have taken out the AUX cord and my phone has a pop-up stating "This device may not be supported." I am unable to listen to music when the cable is plugged in to charge my phone. It seems I still have to choose whether I want to charge or listen to music. The whole point of this cable is so I can do both from my iPhone! If this cable adapter allowed me to do both it would be five stars.

Another useless dongle, please don’t waste your time or $.
When I first received this cord I was excited because I thought it looked like it was really good quality and I would finally be able to use my headphones that fit into a 3 mm jack on my new iPhone XR. It turned out I was very wrong about that! I tried several different pairs of headphones (all Apple iPhone brand) all with the same outcome, they didn’t work! The sound kept fading in and out, sure if I stood there and held them together as hard as I could it sounded really good, but is soon as I let go of the cord then the sound was gone. I was very disappointed and, once again, frustrated that I had spent money on this useless item. I don’t recommend purchasing this if you want a positive experience! The only reason I gave it one star is because I couldn’t figure out how to give it no stars !

Couldn’t use both at the same time
Why are there mixed reviews with a flashlight? This review is for the aux lighting charger dongle. I does not work with my iPhone 7. It said “device not supported.” I could not simultaneously charge and is the auxiliary to connect it to my car stereo.

Static noise on a background
Static noise on a background. I have already tried 5 different kinds - and they all have same issue. Quite ridiculous

Poor quality
Poor quality cable leads to crackling and sound drop outs when trying to listen to music in the car.

Product not working properly
Received first item, not working properly, returned and asked for a replacement which I received the next day, replacement does not work either and is not fully compatible with IPhone, keeps disconnecting. Returned that too!No wonder why the huge discount they have on it, from $80 to about $10!!!!!

Stopped working within a month of purchase.
Didn't have the best sound quality. The lightning cable charging side of the dongle stopped working after only a few weeks. For a few more dollars, you can get an infinitely better product, skip this one.
