The product arrived as advertised and ready to use. The ice tray is pliable and when slightly defrosted, provides a sufficient number of cocktail size ice cubes. Being a novice mixologist and child of refrigerator generated ice cubes I now understand why ice trays are a thing of the past - the dang things will freeze your hands. Oh - and by the way, at the right temperature the ice will stick to your fingers ala tongue stuck to the frozen metal light pole. Painful to remove! That was the bad part. The good is that the ice cubes produced really do make a better cocktail! The smaller cubes are easier to measure and ice cube refills don't splash as much. I'm a kluts so I redecorate the kitchen when making drinks. The smaller ice cubes make "shaken" drinks more cold in my opinion. Would I recommend? Begrudgingly yes.

These silicone ice cube trays from Arctic Chill are fantastic. The ice releases easily from the mold, they trays are sturdy enough to ensure great cubes every time, and they stack perfectly. Arctic Chill has designed some durable trays, and I'm sure I'll be using these for years. I will definitely purchase from Arctic Chill again.The instructions suggest leaving 1/6 - 1/5" of space at the top to allow for expansion, and I definitely recommend following that advice if you plan on stacking the trays. Otherwise, they will freeze together (not necessarily a problem, since the ice is easily separated from the silicone), and the lower cubes will bear the "footprint" of the trays above. That being said, the instructions are *perfectly* clear on this point, so it's not anything that Arctic Chill can be faulted for. And yes, you read that right: Arctic Chill actually ships these ice cube trays with INSTRUCTIONS! ...Everyone can make basic ice cubes, but this company wants to make sure that its customers have everything they need to make the very BEST ice cubes.Arctic Chill provided me with some great ice cube trays, and to top it all off, they offered me some excellent customer service. Shortly after my purchase, I received a follow up email from the company, offering additional tips for optimal use of the product. It's just a small thing, but it's those little touches that cause Amazon shoppers like me--those who don't usually leave reviews--to spend 15 minutes writing a five-star review.

These were not well designed. They look nice, have soft touch silicon, and that's about all that's good about them.Difficult to fill:There's no ridge to keep water inside of the tray, not even one millimeter. Since they're impermeable (which is good) water beads and flows along the separators, directly out onto the counter. What this means practically is that instead of being like *every other ice tray*, where you can pour water in the center or an edge, maybe tilt it, and fill the whole tray... You have to carefully pour a measured amount of water into Each. Individual. Socket.That's very annoying, since even a tiny raised area around the edge or somewhere would solve the whole problem.Very small cubes:Thinking of using these for scotch? Just put some crushed ice in the drink, because that's basically what you're going to get here. For context, these cubes fit nicely into a shot glass.They don't stack or nest:And since they're flexible, you can only rest them on an entirely flat surface. Which means these two trays take up a weirdly huge amount of space in your freezer to make a tiny amount of ice.They're hard to empty:Among every silicon or injection molded plastic ice tray I've ever used, these are singularly the most difficult to get the ice out of. The wells are too close together, and the slight bevel isn't enough to pop out the subes easily. Twisting (as with injection molded trays) does effectively nothing, while stretching upside down doesn't work as well as any other silicon tray, including novelty trays, that I've tried. Presumably because the cubes are so small.Now I understand it's because the idea is to use these for individual drinks, so popping out individual ice cubes makes sense for that use case. But that's not much easier, and again - the cubes are tiny. No one should be using these for whiskey or scotch or what have you.Generally speaking, most any other ice tray you could get would probably be better.

I bought these to save space in my freezer, and for the part of making cubes, they're great. They make nicely sized cubes, they are quite easy to remove, they are taken out one cube at a time, so I don't have to worry about the rest spilling out, and they're nice a square so they fit in a corner without taking too much flat space...But they don't stack on top of each other. The only thing holding it back, because the top of the trays are flat, while the bottom are a bit rounded. This means putting them on top of the tray below digs into them, meaning they deform the cubes below, and causes the tray to stick below. Sure I can angle them to avoid this problem, but then Ice expands, and still a bit uneven because of this

Pros: seems to be nice thick, good quality silicone, it passed the "bend" test (bend the material and if it turns white in the bent area it's not pure).Cons: Unlike a conventional ice cube tray, this one has no flow from cube to cube, which means if you don't want to just flood it with tap water to fill, you have to fill each cube separately and it's hard to do that without overflowing the whole thing. I want to use these for freezing bone broth so I can't risk it over flowing and wasting my precious broth, and I didn't want to send them back so I literally snipped little V shaped notches in each of the interior "walls" so that the liquid will flow nicely and not overflow. The cubes still come out perfectly with a little twisting and break apart easily.Therefore, I struggled with the stars...I kept going back and forth between 3 and 4. I am happy with them after my design improvement so I left it at four.

Ich habe mir diese Silikon Eiswürfelformen gekauft, weil meine alten immer wieder kaputtgegangen sind.Reinigung:Die Silikonformen sind leicht zu reinigen. Es kommt hin und wieder vor, dass eine weiße Schicht obendrauf zu sehen ist, was vermutlich vom Eis kommt. Es genügt ein einfaches Abspülen mit klarem Wasser und alles ist wieder sauber. Reinigung ist also kein Problem.Handling und Material:Das Material ist sehr robust und flexibel. Mir sind einmal bei zu kalt eingestelltem Kühlschrank die Formen am Boden festgefroren und ich musste sehr stark daran ziehen und zerren, um sie wieder zu lösen. Die Formen haben das ohne Probleme überstanden und sind heil geblieben.Dabei sind auch die Eiswürfel felsenfest in den Formen stecken geblieben und waren kaum zu lösen. Auch da musste ich sehr grob die Formen biegen und bearbeiten. Bei sowas merkt man erst, wie flexibel das Material ist und wie gut es sowas aushält.Eiswürfelformen haben noch nie so lange bei mir gehalten und sind dabei platzsparend und einfach zu reinigen.

Die Eiswürfelform schaut edel aus, nett verpackt. Ich hatte leider beim Kauf die Bewertungen nicht gelesen. Als wir sie zu Hause befüllten, las ich erst nach: weiße Schicht in Form und auf Würfel, .... Unsere 1. Eiswürfel waren einwandfrei. Schön groß, nichts weiß, tadellos. Aufgrund der schlechten Bewertungen trauten wir sie uns gar nicht in den Geschirrspüler oder unters warme Wasser geben. Nach dem 2. Mal Befüllen hatten auch wir diese komische weiße Schicht in der Form. Aber das war nicht so tragisch. Grauslich waren die Würfel im Glas. Von den Eiswürfeln löste sich so ein komischer Schleier, der am Glasrand hängen blieb. Vergleichbar mit einem Seifenwasser. Mein Mann hat die Eiswürfel abgewaschen und dann in ein frisches Glas gegeben, da waren sie brauchbar, da dann der Schleier nicht mehr drauf war. Da ich aber nicht die Eiswürfel vor dem Gebrauch abwaschen möchte, musste ich diese Formen leider zurück senden. Schade.

Eigentlich mag ich solche Silikon Teile nicht, Silikon Backformen etc...Aber was für Möglichkeiten hat man, wenn man daheim Eiswürfel will?- Eiswürfelmaschine? Noch ein Teil was rumsteht- Eiswürfel Wegwerfplastiktüten: erstens reine Müllproduktion und oft sind die Kammern kaputt, dann hat man mehrere Eiswürfel aneinanderkleben, auch doof- Hartschalen Eiswürfel Form: Hier die Eiswürfel rauszubekommen ist oft ein schwieriges Unterfangen.Dieses Model: Super!Durch die Silikonform lassen sich die Eiswürfel einfach rausdrücken, kein Müll, einfach super.Von mir klare Kaufempfehlung

Meiner Meinung nach tolle Eiswürfelformen - wenn sie mal gefroren sind, lassen sich die Eiswürfel einfach und ohne große Probleme herauslösen.Die Silikonformen sind sehr stabil und widerstandsfähig; also keine Gefahr, dass sie so schnell kaputt gehen wie die üblichen Plastikdinger.Bisher konnte ich noch keine weißen Flocken oder sonstiges in meinen Eiswürfeln feststellen - ich hoffe, das bleibt so; falls sich was ändert, werde ich es hier noch vermerken.

Bei beiden Varianten haben wir bisher keine Mängel feststellen können:+ BPA freies Silikon+ sehr hohe Stabilität trotz Flexibilität daher kaum überschwappendes Wasser+ Eiswürfel sind leicht zu entfernen+ spülmaschinengeeignetFür uns eine sehr gute Lösung.
