A functional and reliable problem solver
I bought this a year and a half ago after a modestly-powered CFL overheated in an enclosure above a bath tub. I needed a bright bulb without too much heat loss. That requires an LED bulb and this was one of the very few LED options rated for an enclosure.The bulb is more than bright enough for a tub-sized space. It lights the area so thoroughly I'm tempted to describe the color temperature as daylight because it does just as good as the daylight coming through an adjacent window. The color is a little cooler than daylight, but switching it on in the sunlight makes only a subtle shift in hue. It's certainly not as glaringly bluish-white as many LEDs, but it's not quite natural either. It would be homey on a space ship. I'd prefer something slightly warmer, or with a more even spectrum, but I won't knock a star off for that since its color temp is indeed "cool white" as promised.We use warmer lights elsewhere in the bathroom, so the color temperature isn't an issue for "mirror work". We really only use this light when the kids take a bath. Its overhead position and brightness make some very cool diffraction patterns through the water onto the white tub floor. And there's no missing any dirt behind the ears.

Amazing scoops!
This scoop is indeed light weight as expected with solid cast aluminum. It feels good in hand, perfect size for using with my new canisters and appear that it will stand the test of time. I'm using it to scoop ice from our freezer (we always buy bagged ice) and 2 notches on the underside of the handle make it actually nicer to grip. I am pleased with the quality. Would buy again.
