Never tried clips before so I was nervous. I got 10 inch for the top and 12 for bottom. The curl pattern between the 2 are somewhat different. My hair is about 3 inches long and thick. I will order 1 more pack to fill in the gaps. Had I originally ordered two 10 inch (because my hair is short) I would not need another pack. The longer hair doesn't hide as much of my natural short hair as the shorter one. I bleached them both to match my colored hair. I left bleach on them for 1 hour. Used Basic White bleach with 30 volume and covered with foils under a hooded dryer for the first 20 minutes. If I bleached it again it would have gone lighter. So far I have no complaints and I would recommend them.
