Perfect!!!
So, I read the comments after I received the package and I won’t lie, they discouraged me a bit but I decided to give it a try.1. Yes, the brushes are not the best quality, but if you treat them well, and keep them clean, they will last. So no, the hairs don’t spread unless you can’t measure your force against the canvas.2. Yes, the paints dry really fast. It’s acrylic. So you need to make sure to close the pot if you’re not using it. Also, you can add a couple of drops of water to reactivate the paint.3. Yes, the color of the end result is slightly different from the picture sent to you. But it’s not a big difference. The small picture looks a bit darker but that is the reason, it’s small. When you finish the project, the colors are a bit more vivid.4. Yes, you can see the number through a couple of colors. Specially the yellows and whites. But if you paint over it 3 or 4 times, they will not show, you have plenty of paint to do it.Si if you’re thinking to buy this, please do. It was fun, took me about 3 weeks to complete but made me extremely happy when I finished.Si, on a last note, those people who rated this with 2 or 3 stars, are the same people that call tech support to complain about their computers not connecting to the internet without realizing their internet router is disconnected from power.Thank you! 😊

Pleased with Customer Service not the product
Edit: The paints they sent me to replace the first set were just as bad! Number one hardly had ANY paint in it and what was in it was dried out just like the first set I got. I give up. Not worth the time to try to fix it.The paints that arrived were dried out but the company sent me a whole new kit ASAP. Very surprised how quickly it arrived.A few cells are missing some numbers and there are a handful of spots that I just don’t understand how anyone can paint, they are like as thick as a strand of hair! But I love the image so much and have been enjoying it!

Great colors, a few cons
Paints: the paints were nice colors, i love them. However, not quite enough of some of them. I used Liquitex Matte Medium to extend some of the paints as they got a little dry and thick (rather than water). If your paint is too thick, I’d recommend Flow Aid (or a bit of water, if you down have flow aid, but flow aid is much better). For better blending, use Matte Medium. The canvas: as you can see in the picture it came folded. I should have tried to iron it a bit before beginning the painting process but I was too amped up to start. I wish they’d sent it in a roll or gave the option if having a framed version. In order to correct the folded lined I sprayed the back of the canvas with water and ironed it on a towel to smooth out the wrinkles and that did the trick - even with in already having been painted on the other side. Recommend doing this before starting though.Size: The painting itself measures about 19.5x15.5 (not a true 16x20) - 40x50cm- from edge of paint to edge of paint, when ordering a frame to stretch it on I got one that said it was 40x50cm - not easy to find. 40x50cm is not the same as 16x20 inches. I stretched it on the frame I got (not easy by the way). Not a perfect fit so I had to go back in and fill in the white parts showing and there also wasn't quite enough excess canvas to properly stretch it so I did the best I could. The brushes: They are just ok. Pretty standard for paint by numbers though, so you wont find better in most other kits. I don't think they are fine enough if you truly want to follow the numbers exactly (which I was doing at first). I pulled out my own brushes to do fine line work. I ended up using my own brushes for a good portion of it.The design: I enjoyed the design of it but I am a little more experienced and am subbing colors here and there as I see fit, and doing a lot of blending and pretty much ignoring guidelines in places because I want it to look more like the original rather than the simplified version of it.Overall I enjoyed this project. Its really pretty. Happy with the result.

Paints in good condition, item nicely printed but does arrive FOLDED
Paints in good condition, item nicely printed but does arrive FOLDED. Ironing it warped it so I had to stretch and staple it to a frame for display. That said, the image is really nice and somewhat unusual.

Canvas is great, paint quality is terrible
I love this painting and I've had a lot of fun doing it. However, there are lots of issues with the paint. Quite a few of the colors have larger dried out parts in the pods. One of the colors either wasn't properly mixed, or accidentally had a darker color mixed in with it. Some of the colors are running out and on only about 50% finished with the painting. There are sections of the painting that are not numbered, even if I try to cross reference on the map/key they are not marked either.

Not enough to finish painting with paints that were supplied
Like the idea of this item the picture the paint brushes even comes with hardware to hang your painting although the paints were not all that great they were real sticky and thick and not enough to cover the full painting

I'm still not finished
This is my first paint-by-number as an adult. I really love it. The paints needed to be mixed with a few drops of water to get the perfect consistency. I purchased around the beginning of January and have completed about 2/3 of the painting. There are a few spaces without numbers but I was easily able to just fill in what I felt was appropriate. The numbers are clear and the lines are perfect. I used a cork board to secure the painting. Also, it will need to be stretched or ironed to get the creases out.

NOT FOR BEGINNERS
This painting has such little spots to paint. I have been painting for years and done a number of these so I am no beginner. The brushes are horrible and the paint dries in the containers too easily. I haven’t even been able to get through the number one because there are so many tiny spots that the brushes are just too big for. I may probably never finish it because I can’t get the brushes or the paint to cooperate. Lost my interest in this for sure.
