Belfry Men/Women Summer Straw Pork Pie Trilby Fedora Hat in Blue, Tan, Black

Second one I've bought from Amazon and I'm not disappointed. The crown for some reason is higher on this one and they are supposed to be the same hat different color. Overall I'm satisfied

Took a few purchases to find a good summer straw hat, and of course the one I like is the most expensive. But you do get more for your money- this is a stiffer more well-made hat than the others I tried for half the price. Of course this makes it a bit more delicate. I don’t think you can squash this into your luggage.Initially the xl was a bit large for me so I ordered a large. Here’s the weird thing: same color but proportionally different. The front brim of the large is smaller so you lose that cool aerodynamic look and get more of a round feel. As another reviewer experienced, the first hat I received (xl) came in great shape. But Amazon beat up on the large hat for some reason. It was pretty bent up. I let it sit for a few days but it really doesn’t look as good. The stitching on the side brim is off too. Glad it doesn’t fit. Looks like xl with some hat tape to keep it up from wiggling. Overall though- silly name but great hat.

The hat was shipped to me in a box and arrived in perfect condition. The hat is a bargain at this price, but that naturally means that it was made in China, if that matters to you.I have other Trilby hats from Bailey of Hollywood and Henschel. This particular hat fits about a half-size larger than the XL that I normally wear. If you are between sizes, order the smaller one.The hat is flexible, which is nice. You can flip the front edge of the brim up or down depending on your styling preference. On this particular hat, I prefer it flipped down, but I have other Trilbys that look better up. It will also flex to accommodate a head that is a different shape of oval or round (the circumference of your head I mean...) I have a true straw hat that is quite rigid and it either fits the wearer or it won't, if you know what I mean, and the front edge of the brim on that hat is inflexible.The pinches in the front of the hat are less "pinched" than other Trilby hats that I own, not that it matters, just making a note of it. They are also physically smaller. I will probably order a few more of these in other colors.Today was the first day that I've worn this hat and I received three different compliments on it from coworkers. :D

I bought the DrewTea/Bur. Totally love the color, XL size is great for my 7 5/8 head. The description, however, said "So flexible it can easily fit in a tote or bag" so I thought it would surely be fine for however Amazon shipped it. NOT. This is a stiff paper braid. Amazon shipped it in a plastic bag!@!#@# I was disappointed I tell you, absolutely crushed that my hat was crushed, actually with an ugly little tear in the stitching that may be from the crushing. Furthermore, it had one of those plastic doodads that attach tags on clothing items... without a tag, so I surmise it was actually a previously returned item.Anyway, looking at the rest of the description, it very obviously describes a different hat, one with a striped grosgrain ribbon hat band, and with a big pinch front rather than a slight one.Great looking hat but regardless of the shipping, I'd be reluctant to keep the hat anyway. It's not flexible as described. I might have kept it because it just looks that good on my big ol' head. Ah well.

I really like these hats. They're great looking, affordable. I like them so much that I keep buying different colors/styles. The problem is that mediums aren't all the same, at least for the hats I've received. For one color, a medium fits perfectly. For another it's too small. For a third, it's too big. I've even had size problems buying the same color. The medium was too small. The large was too big. Also, the colors aren't always as pictured here on Amazon. I'm really happy when I finally get a hat that fits well. But it's an adventure.

That's right. I'll never take this hat off. Well, maybe in the shower. This hat arrived perfectly in a sturdy box. I wanted a nice summer trilby and that's exactly what I got. This hat is nice and firm. It's not floppy like the $11.99 trilbys you get in the young mens' dept. About the size...I read the seller's size chart. I am at the top end of the L size. I got the XL anyway. The hat fits just like I like. It errs on the side of looesness. Tight hats give me headaches. The hat does not wiggle when I shake my head but I would have to hold onto it in a hard wind. I lost two beloved hats to Alex Ovechkin's hat tricks last year. This hat will never see a hockey game!

I love my summer hat. Great quality, sturdy and fashionable. I have been searching for a summer hat but all the ones I’ve seen for the ladies are too small for my round big head. I can wear this and not have a headache. Plus, this hat I can wear with a pony tail and it fits perfect. Happy I bought this expensive hat. My only issue is a design. The rim of the hat 🎩 isn’t enough to block alot of the sun. It should be be extended more. If you fix this design send me one to review. Thanks

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchased many other hats from Hats in the Belfry. All have fit well, it's hard to believe they made this hat. I will be trying to return it.

A perfect summer hat. Keeps the shape, and feels like a perfect fit for me. Highly recommended

This hat was a little pricey however I've been trying to find a hat such as this in a size 8 or larger and this hat fits the bill perfectly. Good quality product!
