Phar Lap - Horse Racing Challenge (PS4) (PS4)

I am a horse racing junkie and have had several horse racing games over the years. This one is enjoyable but has plenty of flaws. The game play of the actual race is also not that fund, because you don't have full control of the horse in the race. There are some glitchy things too that really should have been worked out before this was released.

A game with horses, what's more to add. If you love horses and like playing video games it's worth checking out.

This was the best and most reliable source to buy products from! Never had an issue and always handled products with care. This game worked pretty well but racing was not as exciting as Gallop Racer games! But I haven’t played many times with this game!Phar Lap loses to a more exciting Gallop Racer by a nose!

This game is a lot of fun! Love this horsey related game on PS4 and the graphics are amazing! Not too in depth and yet still has just enough building in it!

Game doesn’t work. I have deleted it and downloaded it several times and it seems that someone forgot to activate the R2 button to work within the game. It sucks cause it looked so promising

realistic horse simulator

I bought this game expecting it to be a bit budget and would maybe only hold my attention for an hour or two. It's actually really good! The gameplay is way more in depth than I thought it would be what with the stable management and the story mode. Graphics aren't too important to me, but I was surprised at how good they are and how accurately the horses move considering I've never even heard of the developers.The gameplay is solid, the soundtrack is soothing and appropriate. I'd even say it's oddly addictive. Like I say, bought it with low expectations and now feel I've uncovered a gem. It may not be for everyone, but it's a game that you might find yourself enjoying more than you expected.

I liked this game. It is very basic and limited but the story is genuinely interesting tp play thorugh plus you can bet on races as a spectator in addition to racing your own horses. Gameplay is not the best and the levelling system is flawed (you can sometimes outlevel a goal, forcing you to buy/breed a different horse and grind levels on that instead to fulfill said goal) but there are enough challenging races plus an easy to find super-horse if you're having trouble completing the game normally. No crashes or game freezing, no bugs or other issues - just a straightforward horse racing/management game with a chill attitude and memorable supporting characters.

Used at Christmas for a collective horse racing fun with family. Up to eight players can play and individual names for teams can be made up. Fun betting on winners from a made up pot of cash

Like the look of this game however try to play career mode and I get to the stall and cannot play the game from there. Shame as I would love to move on from the stalls to see if I got how to play it and yes it will let me pick quite race which I don't need.

Game seems to be broken in Story Mode. You get to the stalls in your first race and that’s as far as it goes. Game freezes! Avoid at all costs, it’s a waste of money.
