This backpack is awesome! My daughter has heavy text books and binders she carries everyday home from high school. This is the 2nd one we have bought. The only reason is the zipper broke on the first one. It was cheaper to buy a new one than to have the zipper replaced. I have no sewing skills and would have to send it out. My daughter had the first one for almost 2 years.

Heavy duty pack with a light duty zipper
It is a simple, well made backpack, save one huge flaw. The zipper. The first issue was that the lining would get caught in the zipper and jam in normal daily use. I took some time and stitched it in such a way as to prevent this and things were fine for a while. Then the zipper started to pop open and jam when you tried to open and close it. Now the zipper has become non-funtional, which sucks because I have spent some time adding reflective patches for higher visibility when motorcycling and now it won't stay shut.

zipper broke; straps are super uncomfortable
The zipper broke within months after I bought it; the backpack is floppy so when carrying heavy things, it is uncomfortable. The straps also cut into your shoulders

Ripped before the 1st 9 weeks was over
The zipper ripped out and the shoulder harnesses ripped before the 1st 9 weeks of school were over. After 2 months I had to purchase another backpack for my niece. Her Walmart back park has lasted longer and they are much cheaper.

Great size, but cheap zippers
Great size for traveling but poorly constructed. Within two days of use both zipper tabs came off and by the third day the exterior zipper started ripping open.

Perfect!
Purchased for my husband to carry on his motorcycle. It's better than I thought it would be. It's huge inside. He can carry gym clothes, a lap top and a few books!

Perfect bag for traveling light
I love this bag. I bought this to fly on Spirit Airlines because of their strict luggage rules and fees. It was perfect for traveling light. It's attractive, sturdy, roomy without being bulky (it fit nicely under the seat in front of me), and had the perfect amount of zippers and pockets. I'll be bringing it to Europe with me.
