Gullor25 PCS International Size Pen Ink Cartridge to Fit Jinhao Fountain Pens, BLUE, 5 Packs

I've ordered this set of ink cartridges before. This recent order was missing 1 out of 5 boxes (see photo). Description stated ". . . 5 per pack,5-Packs." Instead of getting 25 cartridges, I only got 20.Remediation through the chatbot only allowed a full refund of my purchase price. I would have preferred to get the missing box sent, or a prorated refund provided. Unfortunately, neither of the two were options.Despite the shipping fiasco, I've very satisfied with the product. As I stated above, I've used this product before. In this case, "value for money" is very high; actually infinite for this latest order.Been using these cartridges on my Jinhao pens. Very easy to use. Just pull out the empty cartridge and push in the new one until it clicks. Sometimes I lightly rinse the nib when I install a new cartridge. I plan to order some of the other more vibrant colors. Although most of my fountain pen writing involves blue or black ink, I'm planning to try some of the others, to see if they provide the same level of opaqueness as the blue or the black.

The dark blue ink is easy on the eyes and flows well to the nib. I ordered them for my Jinhao fountain pens which, by the way, are performing beyond my expectations. I prefer cartridges over ink converters because it's more efficient. (I think that dipping the nib to draw ink is messy and wasteful, or I'm just that clumsy...) The seller Aplustore had them delivered to me very quickly--they arrived in a week. Usually when the cartridge is used up, I take a syringe and keep refilling from bottled ink so there's no need for 25 of them. The rest will be given as gifts along with the extra Jinhao pens I bought. I have not used them on other brands of fountain pens but I will update my review when I do.For those who aren't sure how to load the cartridges, I've found some useful information from a fountain pen website. "Insert the ink cartridge into the back of the nib with the penetrable bead or membrane aligned with the nozzle opposite the nib. Press the cartridge firmly into place; a secure connection with be consummated with a reaffirming snap as the membrane is pierced and the nozzle inserts into the cartridge. The cartridge will take a firm push to break the seal. Give the cartridge a snug push and twist to make sure the seal between nib and ink cartridge is secure."If you are using a new pen you will need to give the ink time to go through by doodling on paper until it writes.There is also a Youtube video called "How to replace or insert ink in a fountain pen".

Easy to install, good vibrant blue color. I used it in the Jinhao fountain pen, and if I didn't use the pen for a week or so, the ink tended to dry out, but I think it's the pen itself with faulty cap rather than ink cartridge--a bit of water and it would write again.Found one of the packets 3 years later and it didn't dry out and still worked great.

These came in earlier than expected and all the units seem to be in good condition. I popped one in my fountain pen and the ink came out almost instantly. I don't know if it's the pen's fault or the ink's fault since I'm new to fountain pens but sometimes the ink doesn't come out if you stop writing so I have to get in the habit of re-capping the pen so that when you open it, it creates a vacuum effect which helps the ink flow out better. Of note, one cartridge lasted me a week's worth of writing at work where I fill about 7 pages worth of writing each day so these actually don't last as long. You'll have to keep spare cartridges where you use them often. The color is a very dark blue sometimes in low lights, it looks very close to black and eventually turns more blue. It's very nice regal blue.

Updated: the fountian pen I mentioned using with the jinhoe cartridges lays a lot of ink for a medium nib....it goes through these cartridges(which are smallish will include pic (ruler is showing metric side/centimeters-milimeters) with ruler for perspective) too fast for the/cost/convenience factors...I bought the Jinhao brand sakura blossom fountain pen (from amazon, suprisingly decent for cost ratio but bit unbalanced see review of pen) that takes these cartridges and i love the pen it came with a converter for liquid ink but I decided to start with cartridges. I put one in and tapped gently on paper for a couple minutes...nothing...then unscrewed and turned the cartridge back and forth a bit and it started right up! No problems with flow or blobs of ink...very smooth nice color blue. Highly recommend. Comes in 5 little boxes of 5 cartridges each. I included a pic of the pen i used the cartridge in. NOT WATER PROOF/RESISTANT

Not bad although I did find a couple that wouldn't work with the pen for some reason the ones that don't work won't puncture so I'm assuming it's a molding issue but the ones that do work work fine. I gave it 4 stars because shipping time was good and the price. I've only used 1½ packs yet so my review may change if more are defective

They arrived the day that was promised and the packaging was secure. The only reason I have them a 4 Star Rating is because the description doesn't clearly state whether "short" or "long" Cartridges. I received the "long" ones which won't fit the Jinhao pen I bought. Besides that the cartridges work nicely if you have the right size.

These are the ink cartridges that fit the Jinhao 450 fountain pen, which I also reviewed. The pen is an exceptional value -- well made, heavy, nicely finished, with a look & feel of a much more expensive pen. (I own the Pelican 150 which is much more expensive, but also much lighter than the Jinhao.) The cartridges are more convenient to use than the converter.

I use these cartridges in my Jinhao 1200 fountain pen. Not too surprisingly these cartridges seem to fit this pen better than either long or short international cartridges. The blue ink flows well and does not feather, at least on paper suitable for fountain pens.

Nice ink but smaller amount than normal,but lovely ink goes well with the Jinhao pen i bought all in all buy with confidence as i did

This product is awful because the ink drys up pretty quick if u dont use the next day

Non ho capito perché alcuni acquirenti hanno criticato questi inchiostri, per di più mettendo la parola cinese tra virgolette: è un prodotto cinese, e allora ? non ha alcun bisogno di essere deriso e non è di per sè sinonimo di scarsa qualità. I prodotti cinesi ormai in molti campi eguagliano i prodotti europei (era ora). L'inchiostro è validissimo e ha una corposità assolutamente omogenea. La marca Jinhao oltretutto costruisce penne stilografiche secondo me assolutamente ottime ed è una garanzia di qualità.
