Not an over the top tech sack or leather case, but this bag is great for tech tools and easy to store in the car for travel from place to place.

Just for background, I buy a lot of stuff like this for my work, which involves travel as well as carrying an odd assortment of tools. And I can say honestly it is more difficult than you might imagine to find suitable tool bags. They usually run the gamut from very small and cheap, to hugely expensive, "gimmicky" and not really worth it. I don't like spending a bundle because it is not a *forever* item; They get lost, stolen, destroyed, or mostly, (in my case) trashed out from dirty/greasy environment.in my experience, this bag is about as good as it gets if you have to tote around a bunch of hand tools and move from place to place. It's big enough to carry what you need, and it won't break the bank. It is also decent looking, but I have to agree with those who said it looks kind of like the "Hungry Man's" lunch box. The bag is divided into two sections; One side has your typical budget pallet tool storage area, and the other section, which is taller and a bit more rigid, is sized to house a notebook computer and maybe some documents or a clipboard. The material is the same as you would find on most luggage or backpacks, and is quite strong. It has a handle, and also comes with a shoulder strap.What I like best about this bag is the layout and capacity. Having separate compartments helps to protect some of the more delicate items, like a computer or test meter, from the sharp edges and tips of various tools. So it's kind of a clean side/dirty side arrangement. I also like the fact that the bottom is reinforced and somewhat washable, allowing you to stand the bag securely on a surface without concern for the cleanliness of the location.Dislikes; The tool pallets are your standard budget-type arrangements; not very sturdy or well thought out. The removable pallet, in particular, could have held a lot more tools had the manufacturer been a bit more creative and generous with the holding straps. The overall size is a bit larger than ideal for me, but that is better than going small. Also, the riveting on the handles on the one I received is a bit suspect, but It won't be difficult to repair if it does fail.To summarize, this is a pretty versatile bag at a price that won't break the bank; I think you will be hard-pressed to find a better value.

I'm an AV tech/programmer. I searched rather extensively for the right combination of features, this one actually managed to cover them all. For the price, this is a good bag. It seems highly durable, perhaps not hardcore if you carry a ton of heavy sharp tools and throw it around a lot. Time will tell, but the fabric seems tough enough. Holds everything I need perfectly, decent strap and pad, which I use a lot walking around town and client sites. Everything is easy access without even opening the case all the way. All this plus safe storage for my rather high end laptop. It's been an amazing upgrade from my previous glorified laptop bag. I can carry a lot more and stay organized. So far after about 6 months of everyday use, I'd recommend it for any tech. If you carry a lot of heavier stuff like impact drills, etc. You might need something bigger. For those of us entrenched in network, equipment, low voltage type systems, this seems more than ideal.Update 9-5-2016: A year and half later, after being thrown and dropped and all kinds of other mostly by accident...on purpose occasionally...still solid. I'm actually surprised it has held up so well. Every seam is good, zippers held up. Time tested...this is a great tech bag for the money.

Despite the fact that it kinda' looks like a cooler or over-sized lunch box this is a GREAT tool bag! The taller rear section, which is designed for laptop storage, is also great for cleaning supplies and larger items or tools, which is the way I tend to use it. And, the slightly shorter front section contains four separate tool storage leaves courtesy of a removable center palette. The stitched in elastic tool straps allow a variety of tool and handle sizes to fit and be held snugly.This was purchased at the same time as the Magma MA 2630 (also available on Amazon) and although the 2630 is arguably nicer looking and I really wanted to like it better, I find myself preferring this one! It is just as well made, more convenient since all the tools are on the same side and in the same compartment, and, it's cheaper!! Plus, I found it even further reduced on Amazon Warehouse Deals. Highly recommend this tool bag for any professional service tech.

I'm using this as an electrical bag, I can fit all my tools, meters, and lap top in it with ease. I question the durability though, seems somewhat flimsy but hopefully It will stand the test of time. The bag itself is very lightweight and comes with a removable shoulder strap, carry handle and two outside side pockets. Really good to organize my tools,etc.Also safely houses my 15 inch laptop in one inch padding

This is the second purchase of this Tool Bag. My first is showing some signs of wear after many years of service so I am replacing with new. I am a on call, on site printer/copier technician and with this one bag I can carry all the tools & supplies I use daily. Plus has protected space to carry my laptop and documentation. Keeps it all neat and organized. I carry with the shoulder strap leaving both hands free to carry parts, open doors, etc. Highly recommend!

I am a woman and also an engineer and am never as enthusiastic about carrying bags tagged with tool logos and large, hard cases. I love finding a bag that carries the basics along with my computer. I was worried about the strap after carrying it will a full load. The buckles seem to be of great quality and I haven’t had an issue with the bag carrying anything I have placed in it.This isn’t your forever bag, so don’t purchase this like it will last a decade. I think for the price, a reasonable person wouldn’t expect that.Overall, the best tool bag I have purchased, so my suggestion would be to purchase.

Got this bag as a quick call out / maintenance bag and so far so good.The bag is good the strap could be a little more robust and the shoulder padding better. But overall good
