The Hygienna Solo is a portable bidet nozzle device that easily plugs into most any brand drinking water bottle such as Dasani, Nestle, Ozarka, etc. Simplicity! It's a modern day invention, designed around your busy life style! Perfect for home use, at work, or when you're on the go! If you've got a water bottle handy, you're on your way! Who will the Solo benefit? People who value cleanliness! - observing religious customs, frequent travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, elders, and those with health-related issues such as irritable bowel syndrome. How does the Hygienna Solo differ from other products and alternatives? Unlike other alternatives and substitutes, the Solo doesn't require the use of batteries to operate. The Solo is the lightest, cheapest, effective and efficient solution available today. Does the Solo work with all water bottles? The Solo works with the majority of water bottles available on the market. The majority of water bottles have the same diameter for their mouth, making them perfect to be used with the Solo. The Hygienna Solo works with many water bottles including, but not limited, to: Dasani, Poland Spring, Fiji Water, and Nestlé Pure Life. It even works with certain Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottles if you would like to hold more water! How is the Hygienna Solo used? Simply take the Solo, place it at the mouth of the water bottle, and then push it into the mouth of the water bottle while slowly turning the solo. Once attached, aim the bottle and the nozzle and gently squeeze the bottle. Once squeezed, the bottle will produce a gentle and refreshing stream of water that will allow you to clean yourself effectively and efficiently. The harder you squeeze, the stronger and faster the flow of water. Once finished slowly pull the Solo out of the water bottle’s mouth while turning it. We recommend that you then wash it with soap and warm water, dry it, and then store it in a safe location until its next use.

My new BFB (Best Forever Bidet)!!
How many ways do I adore this item?? Hmmm.....convenience, efficiency, and comfort, ease of use! Can't be beat----and remember......practice makes perfect! Clever, clever idea. And----it does NOT leak. Any trickling or loss of water, is user related, until you get the hang of it. Give this portable bidet a chance......you won't regret it! Update...........I am still loving this item! It is ABSOLUTELY indispensable. The catch-22 is--you'll never know how much you needed one until you get one, If I produced my own top 10 list of indispensable items for daily use this Hygienna Solo would rank #1 on it. So pleased with the simplicity and efficacy of it, that I had one sent to my big sister in Florida! If you choose to purchase one of these.....you can pretty much say adios having an itchy anus! I kid you not! I really liked and appreciated the entire idea of it from the get go......buying it for use in our household, for both my mom and I. She could be a tough customer......I was her sole caregiver. But with a bit of coaching from me, and using warm water rather than room temperature water, she quickly grew to like it. Another thing I appreciate about it, is its portability and that it's so easy to clean and sanitize. I was reviewing my own reviews----and just wanted to say I still like, use and appreciate this gem, and still use it often. One of my best investments!

Affordable intro to bidets and great for travel
I'd been looking for a way to have a bidet experience without spending too much on the rental house we're currently in. The hand held units that attach to the cold water line that refills the tank look like a great idea and could be moved when we move, however we live in the mountains, the crawlspace in this rental is not conditioned nor insulated and the cold water gets REALLY cold in the winter. That did not sound like if would be comfortable to the purpose!I have not had the Hygienna Solo very long, but I do know that how well it works depends on the water bottle. You need a bottle that holds its shape (Deer Park is too soft) but isn't so hard that you can't squeeze it with some force. I'm experimenting with different brands and know better know what to look for. Even with the too soft Deer Park bottle which does not provide a strong enough flow of water, it reduces the amount of toilet paper needed. There is overspray - at least so far. I think with a bottle the provides enough water flow and some practice, that overspray will decrease.Having never used a bidet before, I now never want to be without one. In researching bidets in general, I often came across the term "shower fresh." That's a good description!I appreciate the tip about putting the Solo in a medicine bottle. When I travel, it will be with me!

Good product
After reviewing my other options, I decided to give the Hygienna a try. Not disappointed at all. I like only having the nozzle to carry instead of a whole reservoir and the option to use any water bottle. Handy and discreet. I'm a little nervous about the nozzle popping out of the bottle which would not be pleasant to retrieve if you know what I mean. So far though my fears have been unfounded because it is a very tight secure fit. Our toilet paper usage has drastically been reduced (savings!) and overall I have a more upbeat positive outlook on life.

This works wonderfully with an empty bottle of 18 fl oz
This works wonderfully with an empty bottle of 18 fl oz. Dawn (yes, the dish soap brand). Unlike the Dasani bottle, which is a thin layer of plastic and is too round for much of a control, the Dawn bottle is perfect as it is flatter for easier grabbing and much sturdier for meticulous and repetitive control of water flow. Highly recommend this combination. Use them perpendicularly.

I say, go for it!
Nice product, just short of five-star worthy. For the price, I think everyone should have at least one! The only possible negatives are that it can get you a bit too wet if you're not careful. Given the limits inherent in squeezing water from a plastic bottle...this works exceptionally well. If you're not yet ready to spend 90 or so dollars on a battery type travel bidet, (which may or may not be any better) invest just a tiny few bucks and give this one a try!

Bummer
Great idea but a major bummer. I have used a Boulder Bidet for years and love it. I wanted a spare to leave on the boat and amazon wasn't offering them at that point in time anymore, so I gave this a shot.Problems: When you put this head into the water bottle and snug it down, it easily and often gives you a little blast of water. Secondly, the performance of this product is so dependent on the water bottle used it defeats the purpose of it's versatility. You will become a connoisseur of plastic water bottles. I don't make a habit of buying bottled water, but with this thing I have too. Some bottles are weak enough the one use destroys them. Than because the water bottle is the whole unit, rather than a Boulder Bidet that has a long neck, you have to get your hands much closer into the action to insure a good squeeze. And since the bottle is more or less upside down, if you want to use most, or all of the water you are going to have to have your hands choked up on the bottle neck farther than you really want to go. Wish I didn't waste my money. Going to buy another boulder bidet and toss this.I am in no way affiliated with Boulder Bidet. Just have enjoyed using them for 4 years.

Surprisingly Clean
Purchased this a while back but never used it until now. Right after I received this I ordered the Panasonic portable bidet and have been happily using it for traveling. When I ran out of batteries in the Panasonic I decided to try the Hygienna Solo. The water stream is so huge and so soft that I thought it wasn't working. I didn't even realize how well it worked until I dried with toilet paper and found how clean I was. I now think I will be traveling with this since it is so much smaller, easier to pack and doesn't require batteries.

Good but Others are Better
The ones in the purple bottles work better. This does work well. But I think it is overpriced for a small piece of plastic. It's slightly more leaky than the other ones, and the plastic water bottles it is used with make louder noises than the soft flexible purple ones. So if you're wondering which one to go with, I'd go with the other one unless you need something super small to carry with you.
