You get what you pay for
These are better than a paper book of matches, but not much. I would not want to rely on these as my primary source of fire. It takes about 5 strikes to light, and that's if you don't break the match striking. Once lit it burns fast, have your tender ready for the flame. I did blow it out and it did re-ignite. Have not tried wet. I do not think the container it comes in is waterproof, so would be advised to place in a ziploc bag.
