A resurrection of the original classic platform game, this time with one and two players game with detailed graphics, character moves, level editor and music with sound effects. Beside you run from some red-toga creatures that eat you (like in "Beast Master" movie) if they catch you, you have a few things on your hand to use, small bombs, big bombs (nothing reappear when they destroy something), drill (for stone floors), booby-traps, and a couple of other things up in you sleeves. This is really addictive game, and be prepared if you try it to finish it.

Old Fashioned Lode Runner
Years ago I had Lode Runner on another computer. It was the old version like this one. After that computer crashed I could no longer get Lode Runner I and had to settle for Lode Runner II. Lode Runner II has much better graphics etc. but I still preferred the old version. Now that I have Lode Runner I, I am again enjoying all the fun and frustration of playing it. It is well worth the purchase.

I wish I had known this
I ordered this as a gift for someone who is a die hard Lode Runner fan. She was very excited to get the game, but doesn't play it very often because you can NOT save your progress. Each time you play you have to start over from level one and that's not so fun when you get to an upper level that is really hard to beat.

Love this game. We found an online work-around so we can play this on windows 10, albeit no sound. But fun game nevertheless. Wish it would be upgraded for windows 10

Brings back memories!
I used to play this game all the time!It works great on my Windows XP. It offers challenging and fun levels (mostly challenging) and includes an awesome level editor.Definately worth looking into if your a fan of challenging action/puzzle/arcade games.

This game is so fun, and my brother and I used to play it all the time growing up. It's a fun puzzle game that you can even play co-op. There's a new lode runner game we bought on the xbox live arcade recently too

Amazingly addictive!
This is an incredible game! I finally found it after looking for it for about 5 years (not obsessively, just casually looking) and bought it! It's a REALLY fun game! I highly recommend buying it if you can find a copy!
