Replacement For 2001 2002 2003 2004 Mazda Tribute Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker

Literally had to move the pounds to finagle the battery into place... Now have to smack the unit to get it to work. Loose battery holds which you can make tougher by bending the clamps... Will work and works will when the battery is secure. Would suggest if you read the comments...

I ordered two remotes and received them both today. They looked good but no instructions. :-/I don't know what that is all about. The directions that came with them said to call their tech support between 10 am - 4 pm, be at the vehicle and have keys in hand (paraphrasing). My problem with that is that these are for my wife Tribute; we both leave at 7 am for our commute to work in opposite directions; we both don't get home until after 4 pm (she's a teacher so she can't just leave her class to program a key fob); and from what I can tell, tech support is not available on the weekend. How does this strategy work for customers like us? Because I had replace the key fobs to a previous Ford that I owned, I was familiar with the procedure and they programmed fine without a hitch.I like them; no problem programming them; and all buttons functions normally. Having clear programming instructions included with the product will give it a fifth star.

I've needed this little key thing for a long long time - too lazy to go to dealership to buy one and thought it was way too expensive. They quoted me over $100. Then one day, I get a suggestive sale ad from Amazon for this item. Sounded too good to be true but what did I have to loose but $5 for it right? I ordered and when it arrived, I couldn't wait to see if it was going to work. I was prepared to be disappointed and be take for my $5. I followed the instruction, they were very very easy and just like that... it worked! Holy cow! It worked perfectly and what a great deal! I told all my friends and if your thinking of this product, you will NOT be sorry. It was the smartest buy I ever made - I'm reminded everyday every time I open my car with a just a click!

The remote arrived quickly and in great condition. Worked great from the start, once programmed. The problem is that it does not come with programming instructions. The paper enclosed with shipment provides a website address that is supposed to give you instructions. The problem is that there are noble instructions for a total o 5 ( yes only 5) vehicle models and none were Mazdas. It tells you that the website is in progress and will have more info in the future. Not very helpful. I had to do my own internet search to find a site that gave me programming instructions. Once this was done, all was great.

I've had this for a couple months now. It was easy to program, and for the price, it beats manually unlocking my car. I have an '02 tribute. It doesn't always work on the first, or second try. Sometimes takes a few tries to get it to work. The programming instructions were very easy to follow. I may get another one for my husband's key, despite it's less than stellar performance.

When I purchased my vehicle it didn't come with the remote fob. I hadn't given it much thought but when shopping parts for my Mazda Tribute 2003 this popped up. I was very skeptical but I thought for the price I am not out that much. Well it was so easy to program took me a total of 1 minute and it works great. I had forgotten the advantages of the remote fob and would recommend this product.

Well worth the price but after a couple of weeks it stopped working , so I just opened it up an re closed it tight an squeezed an now it works fine like new again , so don’t give up just open an close it it’s real easy

5/6/14-I have to update my review as the fobs do not work I bought two in 2012 to have as extra's and I was going to replace the original. The range was not good so I have continued to use the original fob that I had. The other two would be replacements. I have a spare key that I have decided to add the fob to. I programmed my original fob and the two that I bought in 2012. The two that I bought don't work which is disappointing. The original fob I have had since 2008 and it still works fine. I use it every day but the two that I bought to be extras don't work. I don't like to waste money I would have hope that these would work two years later. No a happy customer.I would like to say that I got this in a timely manner but I did not. I don't blame the seller as I tracked it and it got stuck with the post office. I contacted the seller and my clickers were resent and this time it did come in a timely manner. I would love to give 5 stars but just the fact I ordered 7/28/12 and didn't get my items until 8/10/12. I can't. But with all that said I ordered two clickers and it took no longer than 5 mins to program. I am very happy with the items I bought.

No instructions included to program the unit.

Bought this last week and it was delivered yesterday. Really easy to program with my 2002 Mazda Tribute ES-V6.
