Awesome Product - Highly Recommend
Just got my surfwheel and it’s just as awesome as I thought it would be. The packaging was more than drop-proof, and everything was packaged in the box nicely. It weighs more than I thought it would for some reason, but I love it. The weight makes leaning into a turn feel a bit more reliable. That combined with the step pad for your back foot makes learning to ride way easier. It took me about an hour of on and off practice (I’ve never riden an electric board before) to get the hang of it, but after that it was a breeze. Curving in and out of the turns is nerve-wracking at first, but it becomes really fun after a while. The Surfwheel itself is super sleek, but the weight makes it very sturdy. I think this design was intended to make it easier on the commuter, and it definitely does. Grabbing the board off the charger in the morning and head straight to the train is no sweat for me - it actually cuts my daily commute in half. All in all, I would highly recommend the Surfwheel to anyone who’s interested in electric skateboards or anything similar. It seems well-built, is simple to learn, and extremely cost-effective compared to some of its competitors. Eventually these will cost more, don’t miss out.

Product does NOT work!!
I bought this for the first time a month ago to ensure that it would arrive before my son’s birthday. The first SurfWheel I ordered would not charge or power on at all. So I sent it back to get another new one. It finally arrived and it won’t charge or power on either! It also appears to be used. I’ve followed all instructions for first time charging - manuals, website, YouTube videos, customer support...this is a TERRIBLE product with terrible customer support as well! Do NOT waste your time or money on this piece of trash! VERY DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED!!!

Tried to save money so I bought this, oops!
Liked the idea but it’s really only good for extremely smooth surfaces like tennis courts and basketball courts. My son wanted a one wheel for Christmas and I thought this would do for half the price. I was wrong, oops.

As much fun as a OneWheel at a fraction of the cost
This thing is so much fun. I also have a OneWheel and although that has a bigger wheel for rougher terrain, this is the perfect board for city or flat riding at a fraction of the cost. I especially like the carrying handle and lightweight compared to my OneWheel. In a very short time, I am already able to spin around on it. It could be kind of difficult to ride for those who aren’t used to it, but having ridden a OneWheel for years, it was super easy to learn to cruise around on. I am having the best time with it.It’s not cheap and isn’t meant to be a child’s toy, but definitely a fun “toy” for an active adult. I highly recommend this thing for anyone who doesn't want to pay the $1700 for a OneWheel.Update: The only issue I've noticed over the past week of using it is that the size of the wheel keeps the board very close to the ground which can be problematic if you lean too far forward or backward.**If my review was helpful to you, please click “Helpful” below!**

Terrible way to spend money.
Save for the real thing. I will probably gift it to my nephew to practice. Cannot go over bumps. Go fine down hill if not too steep because you can’t lean back enough to slow down. Say a prayer and hope a pedestrian breaks your fall/crash!I used a friends real OneWheel and was easily able to get it up and going but the whole day and this thing has thrown me off and it has taken off like a rocket without me a few times. On flat smoot parking lots it can be fun if you are ok with slow.Sorry that I bought this.

MUCH better than an electric scooter
Since living in Los Angeles, I have been fortunate enough to live about a mile from my office. Because of the close distance, I chose to explore other modes of transportation other than driving. Initially, I tried making the trek via Bird or Lime, but found those services to add up in costs. Alternatively, I looked into purchasing my own electric scooter, but found that the good ones can be well above $700.I came across the Surf Wheel and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. The price is very affordable for the quality of product you are receiving. Not only is the board itself a reasonable and safe weight, the ease of assembling and quick learning makes the experience even better. The Surf-Wheel app allows you to monitor speed, battery and update the software. Additionally, Surf-Wheel offers very easy tutorials to help you learn how to ride it very quickly.I would recommend this board to anybody regardless of their experience surfing or skateboarding. The smooth speed and convenient size allows me to carry it anywhere from work, to a friends house, or simply to shop or cruise around my neighborhood. I have gone on a few rides so far and can not express how fun and efficient the board is.Pick up yours ASAP!
