Possibly the best purchase I've ever made
I've had this board for about 2 weeks now and it's nothing short of incredible. The board construction is of a very high quality and feels strong and sturdy to ride. I'm 5'11 and the length of the board means you can carry it by the front truck whilst walking without it hitting the ground which is so useful! I skate to and from work in London, 5 miles each way and the battery lasts for the round trip with juice left at the end. The acceleration is slightly less lively by the end but still reaches the same high speeds (which is faster than most cyclists you'll come across).I ordered the slick wheels but they didn't have any in stock at the time of dispatch so they sent the board with a complimentary set of Rough Stuff wheels instead, and will send out the slicks once they've back in stock. All of this confirmed with near instant email replies. Not only is this the best customer service I've heard of in the e-skate scene, it's the best customer service I've received from any company, and I've worked in customer service for 5 years! The Rough Stuff wheels are fantastic. The reason I didn't order them initially was due to reviews about the older, harder ones feeling a little "squirrelly" to ride, but they've since changed them to a softer material which I've found give a totally predictable ride. Not to mention the size of them means I've conquered every bad road I've come across so far (which is a lot in London) without any instability at all! I feel safe for the entire ride, even when overtaking cyclists and riding on busy roads. The controller is great, pairs instantly and responds smoothly to acceleration and braking. There are lots of configuration settings you can play around with if you want but I've not felt the need to change them from the default so far.Lastly, but probably most importantly, this board is an absolute joy to ride. It's given me the most enjoyable commute I've ever had, and it feels like it will last for a very long time. Given the chance, I don't think there's anything I would change about the board, they really have nailed this one. Thanks Slick Revolution for making what's likely the best purchase of my life!

Little Beast
I Bought the Urban 80 as my first electric skateboard having done a fair amount of research. Its 25mph top speed is slightly faster than the Boosted Stealth, but at almost half the price. I weigh 73kg and have managed to hit 27mph on the flat (with a bit of tailwind), so 25mph is honest advertisement and should be achievable for most people. This thing is not short on power and accelerates up the steepest hill around me with ease! It carves really nicely too. I usually ride fairly loose trucks but be careful not to have them too loose as you can get speed wobbles at higher speeds. The board comes with a handy collapsible skate tool so you can adjust it on the go.I intend to mostly use it to commute in London as well as for a bit of fun! I chose the smaller Urban 80 over the Flex-Eboard 2.0 for its portability, while still packing a good amount of power. UK roads being not the smoothest I went for the 110mm 78A Rough Stuff wheels which eat up rougher surfaces and help with the top speed. Also they just look so cool on that 80cm deck!At first I found the brakes to be quite strong and would throw me off balance but I think that was my lack of experience with eskating. You just need to get used to shifting your weight back in anticipation of braking. Also a little finesse with your thumb pulling back on the control goes a long way. I'm glad the brakes are strong for those emergency situations when you need to stop quickly. The only thing I would improve on the board is the very small delay (1/2 second) between throttling up to getting power to the wheels which affects the feeling of responsiveness. This only seems to be the case when throttling up from 0, so braking and changes in throttle once rolling are instantaneous.I haven't yet taken it out for an extended ride to test the range, but the battery has surprised me with how long it has lasted over several shorter rides. One other nice feature is the protective coating which prevents damage to the the board when resting on its end, something you will want to do a lot when carrying it.I partly chose to buy a Slick Revolution board as it is a UK company with great customer service. Robert the founder is very friendly and was happy to answer all my questions. It is peace of of mind to know that if something goes wrong with the board, their customer service are there to help and spare parts can be sent out quickly. That is just not going to be the case if you buy a cheap Chinese board which has a much higher likelihood of breaking.Overall I'm very happy with the board and have throughly enjoyed every minute of riding it so far. It is a solid product built with high quality, durable parts and capable of serious speed. At roughly half the price of high end boards such as Boosted and Evolve, but with similar specs, I think this board is great value for money. If you live in the UK, SR is the only option! Represent the UK eskate scene! I haven't tried the other boards in their lineup but I highly recommend this one.

GET THIS BOARD!
Been riding the Urban 80 for the last hour or so, having owned a first generation slick board I am SO impressed with the improvements. Rides really well on the rough stuff wheels. Getting incredible speeds above 20mph even on hills. Also Rob and the team are so helpful if you have any issues (which you likely won’t) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🛹
