Preparation HAnti-Itch Cream Hydrocortisone 1% 0.90 oz (Pack of 2) (Packaging May Vary)

I purchased and tried multiple products - prep h with lidocaine, tucks witch hazel pads, another basic topical cream for anti-itch, even randomly anusol suppositories (even though I only had external hemorrhoids? I was desperate!)They were all *okay* and would reduce the occurrence of bleeding and itching. I never experienced any pain or inconvenience aside from occasional itching, but after months and months of my hemorrhoids not improving (and I just did not adapt my lifestyle to "sitz bath/epsom salts" etc) I needed something that would WORK.One week of this and my issues were gone. They recurred once in 6 weeks since then and I occasionally re-apply once or twice. I know this is borderline insane to give hydrocortisone over the counter. This has an aggressive warning about ONE week of use with possible steroid side effects.... thin skin etc. All sound bad.But man o man I gave this a shot and after 1 year of minor bleeding EVERY time I had to go for over a year.... I cannot sing the praises enough.Heck, don't really want *this review* in my history since I don't really know how easy that is to query or w/e but you know what? This 1% cream worked so well I might just bring it up in casual conversation with everyone anyways!

I am happy to get this product thru Amazon - it is not easy to find on store shelves - it is a product I cannot do without
