Nice bright bulbs.

In my bathroom I have two sconces that use these bulbs. One burned out after almost five years of use. I bought a replacement, not realizing that I had warm bulbs and the one I was buying was cool. And it was VERY cool, giving an eerie blue glow that definitely didn't match the warm yellow glow of the other sconce. I searched all over my metro area and couldn't find any warm bulbs that would work in the sconces, so I turned to Amazon and quickly found the exact bulb I needed. I ordered it and it came promptly and was the perfect mate to my other bulb. Hooray! So I ordered seven more. That should be enough for about 20 years. I am very pleased with the performance of these bulbs and I especially like the color which is much like that of incandescent bulbs. Ecologically, it can't be good. It has a big plastic base and no telling what metals inside. The box, however, can be recycled. Not sure this evens out. . . .

This was so fast and easy to assemble that a five year old could do it. Took about 5 minutes with easy directions and looks nice! I wanted a glass side table just for a few books and a place to put my coffee cup. I have a metal stand up lamp next to my chair and this glass and metal table is a great companion piece. I love the shelving for light storage and like the entire look of this piece--really glad I bought it and the price was extremely reasonable.

One of the downsides of owning energy star fluorescent light fixtures is finding the right bulb, with the correct pins, wattage and light color. This is not an item carried by local stores, at least not that I have found. I have had the experience of having an incorrect model bulb shipped, but these were the exact size, wattage and type I needed. They installed easily and work fine.

Good value. Initially considered replacing fixtures due to the specialty bulbs, but at this price for replacement bulbs it’s a no brained to keep the existing. No sure on the longevity yet, just purchased.

The box claims these average 20,000 hours of lifetime. Even if I had the light on 24/7/365, that should be ~2.2 years. But I don't have it on all the time and yet it died in 1.8 years.

I don't know why I just don't buy everything on Amazon anymore.I won't shop at Home Depot but my favorite home and hardware store Lowe's didn't carry the Sylvania 20682 Compact 13-watt bulb. I don't know why there are so many inconvenient plug-in configurations (slot in various positions) for these fluorescent bulbs. Anyhow, the product worked just fine. It's hard to "love" a lightbulb and give it 5 stars but I will give it 5 stars because the product shipped reasonably on time and the packaging was such that the bulbs were protected well.

It is impossible to find these bulbs locally, I thought I was going to have to replace the whole fixture when my old bulb died. This bulb was cheap and popped right in to fixture. The one I got was a warm white and I wanted a cool white, but that's my fault, they listed the color temperature in the title.
