This book is second to none that I know in its presentation of the evidences for God's supernatural revelation of Scripture. As well as the plethora of outside evidences given in Hank's book, the reader will begin to see that God's Word is its own proof of divine origin. Only an all knowing/powerful being could orchestrate and record a single story of His Kingdom from its initial rejection to its renewal including: The many shadows, signs, and types of the OT and the progressive revelation they and the covenants provide pointing to the procurator of the NT (literally: New Covenant - Jesus). Using many people, nations, cultures, centuries, and circumstances; God reveals His Kingdom and redemption plan for all peoples.If you're looking for a book that offers astonishing revelation which underscores the veracity of God's revelation, this is the book. I give it five full stars because the evidence therein is virtually comprehensive yet concise, technical enough to withstand scrutiny, and understandable enough for the unfamiliar. Hank uses classic/logical examples and contemporary anecdotes that I will continually reference in the future. This book will leave the earnest reader at the least - contemplatively aroused, challenged, and engaged and at best - praising and thanking God the Spirit for an unparalleled collection of genres of literature that complete a divine canon which leaves no reasonable doubt that it is divine!

I am in the process of moving, so haven't done much reading. But so far very very impressed.I've followed your radio show "Bible Answer Man" for 2 or 3 years now ever since I accidentally overheard you over the radio in my car, one day while driving, many times over my cellphone as I didn't own a radio. I'm a strong Catholic and didn't know much about the bible. You made me became interested in reading the bible and became close to Jesus Christ, and loving Him. I was amazed by how the archeological discoveries have corroborated the New Testament and Old are accurate historically and continue to be proven so by the dead sea scrolls and multiple other discoveries that Mr. Hanegraaff points out. It really has increased my faith. He's the best bible answer man there ever was and ever will be. He's more patient, sympathetic and understanding than the current host.

Certainly required me to have the dictionary readily available, thus having to constantly reread many parts in order to understand what was being said. But, thanks for causing me to build upon my vernacular :). Apart from that, it was put together in bite size pieces that wasn't too overwhelming to grasp. I especially appreciated the cold hard facts included as well as the thorough and comprehensible look into typology.Definitely is a book that I will use as a reference to help me as I mature in my understanding and walk with Christ.

This book is a must. Hank Hanegraaff is great because he teach you and inform you without made up stuff, he do his homework and tell you what is in the Bible and what the history say, very clear and with FACTS, no what he feels is the true, or what a dream told him about it. This is real good work, it answers a LOT of questions and give you a strong information about how true the Bible is, with FACTS.

Great , Great book.We as Christians must always be prepared to give an answer . In addition, this book is so well written and laid out and full of important facts researched by Mr. Hanegraaff and CRI.I'm readiing for the 3rd time and it is the one book I use as a reference guide to key facts that support the infallible word of God

If you already firmly believe that the Bible is the Word of God and simply want a pat on the head and someone to tell you you're right, this is the perfect book for you.But if you have hard questions and expect serious answers, save yourself the time and money.This book offers a sad excuse for academic proof, and mostly consists of the author's own opinion mixed in with his own personal (and tedious) stories, along with an excessive amount of put downs for anyone who disagrees with him, real or imagined.For example, he calls fellow author Bart Ehrman a "spiritual terrorist" for raising valid concerns and questions regarding the Bible/NT. Now, I have not met Mr. Ehrman, but it's this sort of ad hominem attacks that lead me to question this author's academic honesty. He doesn't stop there. On and on, page after page, his sarcastic remarks and childish name-calling of those whom he deems as "fundamental leftists" flood out any patience for those truly seeking answers.He even subtly puts down the reader, by pronouncing that "even a cursory reading of the Bible is sufficient to recognize" that the Bible is divine in origin. So he's basically saying that, unless you're an idiot, it should be plain to see that he Bible is the Word of God. Then why are you writing this book? That's what I'm trying to find out! Again and again, he resorts to circular reasoning and very little hard evidence to prove the Bible. I read the first 50 pages or so, and skimmed the rest. Either the proof was buried in his mountains of personal stabs, or it just isn't really there; I couldn't tell and was left extremely frustrated and unsatisfied.Honestly, I was expecting something on par with McDowell's New Evidence that Demands a Verdict (which is 100 fold better than this). As the saying goes, just give me the facts, ma'am. No need to grind your political axe and make us feel stupid for having questions.I will be returning this book promptly, and highly suggest that anyone else who is looking for real answers move on. Don't waste your time on this one.
