I LOVED this one! Jackson is unable to handle the mere thought of Emery moving on and is willing to do anything to stop it. It looks like they are headed for the right track but now Emery has to tell Jackson what happened and hope he believes her or Parker is a dead man. And Jackson needs to tell Emery the truth about the mystery girl that is causing a lot of their problems. Can't wait for 26!!I read a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

After Jackson kicked Emery out of his house, they have both been out of control. With Parker, Emery has found a place to stay and a true friend. Well I at least hope he is a friend, not real sure yet. But with all that has happened things might be reaching a boiling point and Emery may not be able to save Parker from Jackson. I've read a lot of books written by Laura Avery; she has done a great job at writing another good short story; she is one of my favorite authors. Just when Emery gets things worked out with the Counselor at school everything is trying to go side ways. There's something definitely going on with Pierce but what that is, I haven't quite figured out. There's a new tension between him and Caden with Emery locked out of the way. And I'm still unsure what role in all of this Morgan is playing and why she hasn't stood by Emery.I received a free copy of this ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest review.

Dang! I love this series even the dark looming damnn twists that continues to wind me into the web of the story making me needy for more. Hot chemistry, emotionally charged, shocking excitement that explodes from the pages demanding your attention while taking you on an eye popping ride that I most definitely need more of. I love the torture this read puts you through that continues to play out through the nail-biting suspense.

Just when I think Jackson might be out of the picture for a while...he's there....watching Emery...always watching Emery. Emery is moving on with her life or at least is attempting to, but then Jackson is there. Whether to torment or to entice, as much as they try to move on without each other ....Jackson and Emery are like moths to a flame.
