Light yet still powerful
I am a professional hairstylist and 90% of my clients are blow drys...i love elchim dryers...my old one lasted like 5 years of constant use...but it was also heavy...the 2001 model...caused a lot of back and neck pain so when i saw they had a "light" version I jumped on it!Thought it wouldn't have as much power but it certainly does!it's LIGHT and has the power to get the job done.Has a cool shot which wasn't mentioned on the product description and a long cord for professional use.Would highly recommend!

Love it
I've had Elchim hair dryer before and it has lasted 10 years so I am sticking with the brand. Hopefully, this one will also last. So far, it's been great and very light weight.

I've been using it for a month now and so far so good. It's super light weight which I love and extremely powerful. Both mine and my clients' hair have been left smooth/silky from it. The only negative thing I can think of is if you're looking for a quiet blow dryer this isn't it. I'm used to blow dryers making noise so that doesn't bother me. Overall great purchase

Love at first use
LOVE LOVE LOVE this dryer. I have had previous Elchims and Solano's but this is the best ever. If you need a diffuser for this lightweight beauty get the Elchim 3900 Bi-Diffuser. This is a great dryer for thick fine hair that takes a long time to dry as well as using it as a diffuser for the same type of hair and going curly.

Excellent Elchim 3900 Needs a Diffuser that Works!
Love the hair dryer! It has great attrubutes such as being light weight and ionic but powerful with 2000 watts. I am sending it back because the Elchim 3900 diffuser is hard to take on an off the hair dryer, and I need that facility. Instead, I have bought a Sam Villa hair dryer, which is equally as light as the Elchim 3900 on my scales. About the same price, the Sam Villa is not only ionic but also infused with tourmaline (shine). Sam Villa is less watts that the Elchim-- but with a turbo 1750--supposed to be more powerfully enhanced in the range of 1850 watts. Very important, if not most important, to me is that the Sam Villa's diffuser's ease of going on and coming off is just easy. (Notable is that diffuser came with the Sam Villa purchase and was not a separate purchase as with the Elchim). I am tickled with my Sam Villa hair dryer. I recommend it! If you do not need a diffuser to go on and off with ease, the Elchim 3900 is super, too!

I though there was not much difference in hair dryers and always used the cheap drugstore kind, but I was amazed that this dryer takes care of my hair in half the time with significantly fewer frizzies. Expensive, but I wish I had switched years ago.

XL cord is great.
Lighter than my Solano, makes my hair really smooth and soft and drying time is less. XL cord is great.

Love This and So Glad I Purchased Another Elchim
My 3rd Elchin and I love the product. This is lighter weight, smaller, so it is easy to travel with, and still dries my hair quickly and safely.
