My son (8) uses this everyday, all day. He loves his Kentucky pitsol. It even allows you to use those pop caps with it.Great quality as well! Very pleased with my purchase.

The barcode was placed on the wooden handle of the guns, which made it difficult to remove without leaving a sticky residue.

My two sons run around the house turning everything into guns. They have turned sticks, poles, clothes hangers, carrots, forks, and even asthma inhalers into guns. They chase each other going "pew, pew" at each other. They are ages 6 and 3. I never bought them guns, because I didn't like the idea of my sons touching such a dangerous tool. (Kinda how most parents don't let a 6 or 3 year old hold even a butter knife)I asked myself "What's the point?" They already turn everything into a gun anyway. I figured I would buy one of the best constructed toy guns around. Why not? If you're going to do something, might as well jump in whole hog right? This was the best from what I could tell on the reviews and the description of the toy itself.It is wood and metal. It has weight to it, but not too much for a child. I don't expect this to fall apart even if used as a hammer, though I don't recommend you teach your wee one to do this. My only fear is that my son will use it as a stick to hit with. I don't think he will, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

After reading the reviews, I was concerned about the sticker problem. I used alcohol prep wipe and the residue came right off and did not damage the barrel.My grandson is going to love it - literally have a blast! The caps were a bit difficult to find, but Scheels and Basspro both had them. Shipping $ less at Scheels.

We used these for our production of Treasure Island and you will not find a better cost effective pistol replica. The pull off caps work fine too. Paint or remove the orange tip if you want it more realistic, but these were fantastic props and I'll definitely purchase these again.

Ordered this for my 11 yr old grandson for Christmas.I should have chkd it before I gave it to him last night, as the trigger doesn’t work. I ordered this back in October, so I cannot send back. But he really loved it, although disappointed it didn’t work.Will reorder and hope that this one works.

My son and I think this is a fun gun, but it feels ruined by the presence of the sticker right on the handle, and it does not come off without damaging the paint. This has happened to us before. so disappointing.
