The media could not be loaded. I purchased three of these cameras five years ago back in 2019... and they have been superb cameras. They have withstood 80+ mph wind gusts, temperatures from -25 to close to 100 deg... rain, snow and birds.. and they have never missed a beat.The video quality of this camera is very good during the day.. and acceptable at night with the IR lights. Not as good as color night vision is of course.. although I'm not even sure that was available when I purchased these. I've included a video of a Red-tailed hawk that shows the detail that this camera is capable of.I use a program called ContaCam to do my recording with these cameras.. as it allows for very detailed control of what you want to record.. and what you do not want to record. Not sure I could even use a camera outside my house if not for this program.The setup of this cameras is very easy.. at least after you have done it a time or two. You can control everything from the network and wifi settings, to the video quality and audio settings.. and everything in between. Using a browser to access the settings is much more detailed than using the CamHi app.Even better than the camera is the customer service. They will bend over backwards and then some to help you out.. even years after purchase. They have never failed to answer a question or solve a problem if it is within their power to do so.I only have one complaint with this camera.. and it is not with the camera itself per se. The power supply for this camera is not waterproof.. which does kind of limit where you can place this camera. So if you are using an outside receptacle to plug this into.. keep that in mind. There are workarounds of course.. but it would be nice to have a waterproof power supply.SV3C is the only company I will do business with when it comes to cameras.. a top notch company to say the least.

The media could not be loaded. Honest review: the camera is a solid camera that is made of metal and not plastic. They did a great just bubble wrapping the camera so that it wouldn't be scratched or broken. The camera comes with basic screws (which I used my own instead), power cable, instructions on set up, alen key, and a cat5 cable too hook up to router for set up. I used San Disk memory card, bc I've never had an issues and it took it no problem. The micro SD card goes under the speaker, wish they would have used screws for the Alan key for the speaker, bc u will need a small Phillip head to open it. Install was not hard, but make sure you read the instructions for wireless carefully. You must hook it to a 2.4 signal, not a 5hz signal. Also make sure your network password doesn't have special symbols like @#&* or it won't work. I missed those notes when I first tried and took me reading it carefully to figure out why it wasn't working. The 5mp pictures are stunning. I added pics during day time and nights and also posted video of night mode. As you can see no issues seeing in detail. The app is actually good and has a lot of extras my other company camera doesn't have. Easy to use. This camera is well worth the price.

The camera provides excellent image quality and wonderful night vision. I had a lot of issues installing the system. The instructions use screen shots that are tiny and hard to see; plus they don't match the screen you see on your devise. I went to their website to get the instructions and it was a pdf of the pamphlet I couldn't read!! But I was able to zoom in on the pdf and finally got it all connected with some guesses and lots of grumbling. The camera records continuously in 10 min segments (that is the default and can be shortened). It has excellent human recognition and for the price it has excellent quality. It also takes snap and stores shots when it detects motion. The WIFI connection was quick and easy (once you can read the instructions). Remember, to record pictures and video you must install a micro SD card. And since the instructions don't tell you how to do that I will. The panel on the bottom has two screws, take the panel off and you will see the micro SD card slot, just slide it in. Over all the system is excellent, especially for the price; but SV3C needs to improve their instructions. I would rate it as a 5 star if the install/instructions were better.
