Got this for my nephew who is 5 but my sister plays with it instead. Love the fact that you can connect to the TV.

This was a complete waste of time. It's being returned immediately. Don't even think about an instruction manual. It's one sheet of paper with broken English on one side and Chinese on the other. Basically all it does it show a diagram of the game box and tell you to charge the battery. I guess if you play these games you don't need much more but if you're new to this, you have to figure it out. It is basic however so maybe they felt no instructions were necessary...lol. The figures on the screen are VERY tiny and very basic. Kind of like looking at a picture by a child drawing stick figures. I didn't even recognize some of the games. The button action is very jerky and skips. Sometimes you have to hit keys multiple times to get them to do what you want them to do. If you hit the wrong key, die in the game, want to start the game over, etc, you have to hit restart. That takes you back to the main screen where you have to start from the beginning. To find games you have to scroll down screen after screen until you find what you're looking for. Takes forever. I didn't even bother trying it on the TV. It took me less than 5 mins to know I didn't want this.

So I got this for my son. It came in on time and as expected. It's roughly the same size as the original Game Boy, but the screen is much smaller and harder to see. It's loaded with games and it came with the wires to hook it up to a tv and a remote controller. Needless to say it's easier to play it on the television than it is to play on the game itself. For the price it was a smart buy and I would recommend this product for the price.

Loved the idea of this, a handheld gaming device that can also be played on the tv. Bummed because you can only use the remote to control the second player in 2 player mode. I wish the remote could be used in 1 player mode. I couldnt get ahold of company when asking about remote (we thought it was broken since it wouldn't do anything until we used device to choose 2 player mode, thanks to someone answering my question on amazon). Overall my family loves it. Lots of games and good price.

I myself, my adult sister, my 13 year old daughter, my 1 year old son, my 9 year old niece, and my twin 6 year old nephews all love this game and spend too much time playing. We all have phones and tablets and video game consoles but this is much more fun!

SUCH an AWESOME little game! Wellll worth it! I cant believe how great this is for how cheap it was! Works absolutely wonderful on the tv and in 2 player. My boyfriend and daughter are hooked! It really does have 400 games. LOTS of old school games. Love that it is rechargeable. Will update when we play with it more on how well the battery lasts, but as of now as soon as it gets set down someone else is picking it up. Gonna definitely be buying more.

I got this for my grandsons when they are at my house. They like playing the old Mario games. It has lots of the retro classic games on it. The battery lasts for a fair amount of time. It has volume control.

Bought this for my son who LOVES playing video games! Was so excited to have his very own device he doesn't have to share with others. Great variety of games to select from with all the classic sounds you would expect. Definitely would purchase again.
