RegattaMens Haris PU Leather Lightweight Sandals

I have had a pair of these sandals for several years, and am so satisfied with them I have purchased a replacement identical pair. They are comfortable. They are light (550g the pair) and compact so go easily in a rucksack for trekking trips. The soles are sturdy enough for shingle and lava though I would not wear them for a full day hike. Look good enough for informal wear anywhere.

To be fair, I do like my sandals and wear them every day. I also walk a lot as I do not drive. And they were cheap. The upper part of the sandals is fine, and weathering well. The problem is the soles, which have badly worn down and are rapidly disintegrating, especially on the right foot. Please see the photo, and note the sole has split right through at the heel (left, back, in the picture). These sandals were bought at the very beginning of November 2024. It is now the end of April ‘25. Were they value for money? I simply do not know. I plan to continue to wear them, so they might just survive, say, ten months. Will I buy another pair, given their cheapness? Perhaps! So maybe four stars rather than three?

OK but not ideal if feet swelling in the summer ...not enough strap to loosen

Brand available elsewhere @ much higher price.Size 8 were a good fit for me.
