Worth Every Penny
I have been using Helikon shorts for a while and love them enough to have bought a second pair. They wash and wear well and the multiple pockets are really useful, especially for holiday wear. A space for everything and safe storage for money and phone. Based on that I bought some Helikon trousers (NOT THESE) and was disappointed in the quality and design. Then I saw these trousers. More expensive than the others but the picture and description looked like the same design and material as the shorts. I was right. They are the same and they are very good trousers.First the sizing. Go for the waist size at the bottom of the range. e.g. If they are marked 32 - 34 they will fir 32 but be tight on a 34. If anything go up a little. Leg length is very generous. I have 35 inch inside leg and often struggle to find trousers long enough. These are marked 34 so took the risk of needing to push them down on hips. I don't need to as they are well long enough. The quality is everything I hoped for. They are comfortable, smart and the range of pockets is very useful. They even have more than the shorts with two additional small security pockets INSIDE the waist band. The two velcro pockets on the front take iPhone 7 plus and sun glasses. The two side zipped pockets are great wallets and passports while the back pockets are huge although the small pockets inside the back pockets are of limited use. OK for a pen - until you sit sown. The two inside pockets are great for hiding rolls of bank notes or credit cards. The trousers wash well and dry quickly and fortunately need minimal ironing as they are awkward to iron. The leg has a slight bend and some additional material on the knee so is hard to press flat but I am an old git used to creases down the front of trousers. Most users probably would not bother.I work in an active occupation that requires smart black uniform trousers with plenty of pocket room. The issue trousers are poor so I bought a second pair of these in black. They do the job perfectly and with a bit of effort to get that illusive creates down the front they are smart as well.I find reviews helpful so if mine has been useful please click the LIKE so I know I am not wasting my time. Thanks

love those, and got these for work wear
I had the shorts already, love those, and got these for work wear. Smart enough to wear meeting clients as well as working on event sites, these are a great pair of trousers for all activities, work, travel, outdoors. Dries quickly. Lots of pockets, easy access for tools whilst on ladders, and handy mobile phone pocket ( iphone 6s fits perfectly and easily put in and removed when needed) or pen/tool pocket on both front thighs. Security zipped side pockets ( which zip closed back towards the front so items don't fall out when seated if left open or half zipped like other brands) are big enough and great for holding wallets and passports whilst travelling, and gives easy access when these are needed. I usually go for 36" waist 34" leg in jeans, and these were in XL- Long , with the Extra long legs are just to the floor at heels without shoes, but sit OK with shoes on, good for keeping mossies biting my ankles, so perfect for me whilst working in hot and mossie-prone countries. Slightly too big at waist for me, but I wear a Helikon double duty TDU belt ( black/coyote), and fit is generous in crotch for lots of high leg lifting whilst climbing up stage decks or truss. Nice double layered at knees, and have internal knee pockets for some foam padding if needed. Good quality, a bit pricey but worth it as these are built to last!

The Helikon UTP pants are probably the best fitting pants that I own in this style out ...
The Helikon UTP pants are probably the best fitting pants that I own in this style out of all the different versions I've tried (5.11, Pentagon, Craghoppers, Mountain Equipment etc). I'm a pretty skinny bloke (30" waist 32" leg) and always struggle to find a pair of pants like these that will fit. Usually the legs are waaaay too big for me and I end up with billowing trouser legs flapping about in the slightest of breezes! Although the UTP trouser legs are still a little too big to be perfect, they are a lot better than the others I've tried. The pockets are easy to access and have reinforced areas where you'd expect. I was trying to hold out for Helikons new OTP pants that were due out in July, but there's no sign of these unfortunately and so I've gone for the UTP versions instead. Very happy I did and will almost certaiinly be buying another pair.

As good as the shorts version
I bought these as I have the shorts version of these and love them so figured the long trousers would also be ideal.I was not wrong these are a great pair of do anything trousers, great fit, great cut, plenty of storage and comfy for just kicking about the house, for work or for active outdoor use.I am a 34waist and these fit perfect, my legs are always a pain as mine are always usually between regular and long. These regulars are a 32 leg and are spot on for me.Like the shorts I think I have found my go to trousers will be buying more in different colours.Glad they fit Helikon make some great stuff but their sizing is often random or way out especially on the top half of the body I still cant quite get why helikon trousers seem to be a good fit but their "tops" are often huge or over sized.for the marked size.

Brilliant
Like other reviewers I'd already bought the equivalent shorts and found them to be the mutts nuts, so thought I'd try the trousers. Equally pleased with these!I especially like the velcro fastening for the waistband and the extra wide belt loops (almost as much loop as gaps!).Fit is as expected: if I had to be picky I'd say slightly longer than expected but at 6' 4" tall with a 34" inside leg, this was a pleasant novelty. The pockets are as for the shorts - plentiful and useful. Those on the sides mean I'm no longer sitting on my wallet.

Tough and ready for anything
Holds up to a beating, and better than most pants with built in knee pads. They do get a bit warm around the knee, but thats to be expected.

Versatile pants. I love them.
These are the best pants I've ever had. They are comfortable and fit right. The pockets are all in the exact right places. The side zippered pockets are perfect for my wallet to be in a secure place, along with other things I need to access frequently. Bonus: Not only is my wallet more secure, but it sits on the side now, instead of me sitting on it. That is BIG because it is hard on the back and butt to sit on your wallet (and it doesn't do the wallet any good, either). And the velcro side pockets are perfect for cell phone or my garage door opener. Now I have my opener with me, so I can open the door if I'm not in the car. I can just push the button while it's in the pocket, so I don't even have to take it out (or reach for it when in the car). And there are two small rearward side pockets that are perfect for my key rings (one on each side). This is important because over time your keys bang up-and-down in your pocket and eventually wear a hole in the pocket. So the keys stay nice and snug in the small rearward pockets---no bouncing around to wear out the pocket. A person can use their imagination for how to use the various pockets. And I like the combination of zipper pockets and velcro pockets (zipper for better security, such as a wallet).

Hier geht wirklich nur ein Stern. Sorry
Schade.
