Kearsley: An Illustrated History

Product arrived early which wasn't a problem. Its an interesting read for anyone interested in local industrial or social history and there's already a list of people who want to borrow it.

A lot of work has gone into the writing of this book and it has resulted in a fascinating history of Kearsley and surrounding areas. Bought this to send to a fiend in Canada who grew up in Kearsley and she loves it. I think that is is a book to dip in and out of rather that a read from beginning to end.I am sorry that some of the photos are not clearer but that didn't stop my enjoyment of the book.

The Author has put so much time and effort in producing a really detailed and interesting overview of the area. So many photos and such great writing. A must buy for anyone interested in UK history and certainly the area. 10/10.

Thoroughly absorbed. My family on both sides are from this area. It has added so much to my own genealogy research by putting real events to purely lists of names dates and occupations. Can't put it down.

A mine of information. Many pictures I hadn’t seen before. A good read and reference book.
