Super clean installation and caps for transit.
I have been full time RVing for more than 20 years. These hoses rate a 5 star for construction, materials and convenience. By selling a pair of 10’ hoses, and the caps and connectors, I have the perfect length hose for every situation. Being able to cap both ends after use is definitely a huge advantage while in transport mode. A+++++ value.

GREAT RV Sewer Hose Kit
Great RV Sewer Hose Kit. I already had a 15 ft RhinoFLEX hose (came with travel trailer), but recent experience was that I needed between 25 and 30 feet from the trailer to the sewer. Bought this so I could mix/match to get any of the following lengths: 15 ft, 20 ft, 25 ft, or 35 ft. This RhinoFLEX hose kind-of "pops" when it is extended and stays extended -- unlike the typical inexpensive hose that stretches out, but continuously tries to retract. Then when you are finished, it "pops" back to compress the hose -- about 4 to 1 expanded vs compressed length. Also the end of the hose that goes into the sewer port (the orange tip on far right in the picture) comes off so that entire hose will store in the typical 4 in x 4 in RV bumper. You can put the sewer port tip in something like an empty plastic coffee "can," store under RV, and re-attach when you get to your destination. Also the kit comes with end-caps which attach to the ends, preventing any residue from coming out while the hose is stored or otherwise not in use.

Best sewage upgrade- definitely worth the extra investment!
I used this to replace the regular Camco 20' Kit ( Camco 39625 20' Revolution Swivel Sewer Hose Kit ) that had a crack in the middle of the hose after a year and a half. I could have just replaced the one 10' hose that had the crack but I decided to upgrade the whole length so I wouldn't have to worry about it later. I am very pleased with the RhinoFLEX, it is much sturdier material and I love the stay-put bendy wire in the hose. The connections were very easy to work with MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT TIGHTENING THEM UP DURING INSTALLATION. I did not have problems with leakage like some people apparently do after not installing it correctly. The package included fittings I ended up not needing, and a complimentary baggie of septic-tank drop-ins which I also did not use since I recently purchased a specific type that I want to use for the safety of the ingredients ( Walex BIO-11530 Bio-Pak Natural Holding Tank Deodorizer and Waste Digester, (Pack of 10) ). I had half-pipe guides holding the cheap pipe in position before, and I suspect I don't really need it for the RhinoFLEX, but I left them there to extend the life of the product.

Quality product that will do the job
Let me start by saying that I am a novice RV'er. I've rented an RV a few times and I recently bought a Class C unit to have some fun with. I purchased this hose kit to outfit my RV since it did not come with a sewer hose. I haven't used the hose for its intended purpose yet, but I did inspect it thoroughly.PROS:This kit consists of two identical ten foot hoses and an elbow to adapt to the dump station. The hoses appear to be made well, the material is thick and the plastic ends seem robust. The hoses are collapsible and the segments 'snap' in and out so the hose stays at the length and shape that you configure it to. A very cool feature is that the locking ends on the hoses are removable, so if you need to replace a hose you can just buy a length of hose and swap the fittings. As an added bonus there are three drop-in holding tank deodorizers included in the kit.CONS:The swivel ends on the hoses have a silicone grease pre-applied to them. On the hoses I received, there was a lot of excess grease inside the hose that I needed to wipe off. Just handling the hoses I got grease all over my hands. There was definitely far more grease than necessary on the swivel ends. When I extended the hoses, they measured 9' 9' long - about three inches short of the advertised length. I'm guessing that they can be stretched the extra three inches, but that doesn't seem like a great idea or that it should be necessary. The hoses fit inside of my 4" square bumper as advertised, although the fit is quite close. I had to turn the swivel ends to avoid interference. I don't think this will be a problem, but it's worth mentioning because it's possible it will not fit inside of every 4" square bumper out there. The elbow supplied for adapting to the dump station will not fit inside the bumper. This piece will need to be stored elsewhere. It would have been nice if the kit included a bag or some other container for this component since I really don't want it just sitting inside one of the storage compartments for obvious reasons. I put it in a 1 gallon Ziploc bag and will keep extras handy so I can dispose of the storage bag each time I use the elbow. All of the cons are rather minor so I only deducted one star since this appears to be a quality product that will work well for the job.Below are some handy tips, particularly for newbies like me.I couldn't decide how much hose to get since I've read a lot of different opinions ranging from 15' all the way to 50'. I decided to start with the 20' kit and go from there if I find that I need more in the future. I'm glad I did because each hose is about 3' long when collapsed and my bumper is 8' long so it will only hold the two hoses supplied in this kit. Keep this in mind when considering how much hose to buy. You could buy another 10' length to be on the safe side, but keep in mind that it will need to be kept separately in a storage compartment. The first time I put the hoses in my bumper I put them in from the same side. This resulted in one of the hoses being stranded in the middle of the bumper and I had to use a tape measure to hook it and pull it out. Put the hoses in from opposite ends so they can be easily pulled out when needed.Get some rubber gloves. This is probably obvious, but they are not included in the kit and you really want to have something on your hands when performing this task.

An incredibly well designed and effective product, and well worth the money.
Used this for the first time last weekend. I was literally excited to try it after fussing with crappy (pun intended) traditional hoses for the last 5 years. After reading the reviews with some people complaining about leaks, I pre-checked the connectors and lock collars to make sure everything was tight. I'm happy to report that no leak of any kind was experienced, and I'm pretty sure that anyone who has had that problem could resolve it by confirming tightness at the connections.I can also tell you that this is among the greatest purchases of my RVing life. I always wear nitrile gloves when handling the sewer stuff, and I could have seriously gotten away without using them at all this system. And although the hookup at my last trip was very close and ideally elevated, I'm certain that the "positionable" nature of this bendy-straw-like hose will make for simple placement in less ideal situations. The connectors operate smoothly and function well, and the swivels work as they should, taking some of the minor frustration out of getting the hose laid out and set up.In short, I can't recommend this product emphatically enough.
