Doesn't teach much about soloing
This book focuses on soloing in different modes and chords. It doesn't go through a whole lot on improvisation skills. However, it does include a lot of great backing tracks. The practices are pretty good.

Eh...boring
Its just full of scales not much information on application, which is a let down cause I know a lot of scales but I need more ideas on application.

Good tools for soloing
Dominik has done a good job in explaining the choices of scales you can use for each chord. It further explains what the notes are in relation to the chord and clear up for me why some notes will not sound well even you're playing the "correct" scale. It's quite academic and go into details a lot, it does give me light bulb moments. But like others have said, it does not discuss about phrasing, just about what you could use for what chords.
