The Most Outstanding Knife I've Purchased
The media could not be loaded. this knife is AMAZING the best knife I've ever laid my hands on, i absolutely love it, it's just as advertised and comes VERY sharp, it was on time and came in a amazon prime box, inside that box was a Knife King box, inside that was bubble wrap, inside that was the knife and sheathe, each individually wrapped, the knife well oiled and wrapped in wax paper and then around that a plastic sleeve, the sheathe wrapped in multiple layers of plastic sleeves, each layer of wrapping was well sealed with multiple tight rubber bands and was basically water tight. when i finally got to the knife it was VERY well oiled to preserve it, no rust or defects at all, i wiped it clean and i can verify that it is in fact Damascus steel, everything was tight and well built, VERY sharp and the handle was a little different than the picture (just a different shade of color than the picture) but that's alright, the sheathe was VERY well made, and very tight, it has leather straps woven into the front with strands hanging loose so you can either attach it to something, tie another knife to it, or even put decorative beads on them. i looked and even on the grinded edge of the blade the Damascus steel pattern is there, and on the spine it matches up to the sides with the pattern, so this knife is OBVIOUSLY real Damascus steel, it came with a little card in the box saying that it is made with carbon steel and that if not properly maintained it can and will rust, which is convenient because it tells you what to do to keep your knife from rusting. and another note, some of the bad reviews state that this knife is not real Damascus steel, well those people accidentally bought the knockoff ones sold by third party sellers, my advice is to only buy from Knife King, they have the real deal. I'm gonna include a link to two videos i made as a review (sorry couldn't add them to this review cuz technical difficulties so they will be added to YouTube and linked here) 1st video- [...] 2nd video- [...] Thankyou so much for making such a quality knife keep up the great work and i will definitely buy another soon to add to my collection <3

WOW!! A+++++
As an avid knife and sword collector through the years I've seen it all, but this ONE..IS JUST SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! Great craftsmanship for the price, razor sharp, and stunning to look at and hold!! The sheath seems to be genuine leather and is also very well made. I would definitely recommend this beauty if you're a collector or even just looking for a great camping knife, this is the ONE for you!!

Big. Sharp. Badass. Buy.
I have been looking for a Bowie knife for a while now. Everything from $20 to $1500. I have always admired Damascus steel so when I inadvertently came across this knife and this price point, I was interested. To be candid, I was concerned about the reviews. Poor craftsmanship. Dull blades. Lackluster sheath. In the end, I loved the look of the blade and the price was right to take the risk of having to waste time to return.Knife arrived quickly. Packaged to survive re-entry. Blade nicely greased. Big! Did I say big? Big! So to those that said it was dull. When I wiped the grease off the blade I was paying attention and at the curve of the blade my finger ran off the blade. Sliced through 3 layers of paper towel and my finger (see pic). Little to no pressure. So I have read many reviews that said a knife was so sharp it shaved the hair off the back of their hand. I own many knives which I consider sharp. My skinning knife works like a hot knife through butter but can’t shave the hair on the back of my hand. I thought those reviews were bs. But, as it just sliced my finger, I gave it a shot. Couldn’t believe it actually worked. So this knife is sharp. To craftsmanship. Knife is well constructed. Blade enters the guard cleanly. Brass on the guard is clean and meets nicely with the wood handle. Wood handle feels nice in the hand. To be fair, I haven’t had the heart to use it yet. Therefore, I can’t comment on how the handle feels while being used. It is on the larger size but it feels comfortable in my hand and don’t see that it will be a problem. I wear L/XL glove size if that matters. The Damascus steel is finished nicely. It didn’t come off when I cleaned the blade line some of the reviews stated. Love it. Sheath. Well it’s functional. Good leather but what’s up with the tassels? I darkened the leather and cut the tassels. I lowered the review by one star in the hope that KK changes this. Get rid of the tassels and the brass eyelets.So, buy this knife if there are any left. I bought another as a gift. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice blade
Nice blade. As ye can see from the picture, I adjusted the handle to fit me. Pretty easy. Used a satin sealant as I don't care for shiny. I'll wind up dulling the brass too. Now when I wrap my hand around it my fingers just barely touch the base of my thumb. Makes for a more secure grip. I like that it was a big enough handle that I could fit it perfectly to my grip.

Very Questionable knife
Took order today and knife has large sections where the "Damascus" pattern is missing. It came covered in oil so I wiped it down with a microfiber towel and more of the etching pattern started pealing off as well as the contrast started to disappear. After I got the knife dry, it had lost almost all the dark shades of the etching. The wood in the handle doesn't look anywhere near as good as it does in the pictures either. It has no swirling pattern that is typical to burl wood and I think it is actually just oak with a dark stain. I'm not a knife expert but I doubt very much that this is real Damascus steel. The only upside is that it does feel solid and fits tightly into the sheath.

Pretty nice all around. The blade is solid and beautiful. Haven't had a chance to field test it yet.

Thats not a knife, this is a knife!
Really really sharp, i love it! Handle and grip is good if you have big hands like myself, the sheath is cheap but good, overall very nice blade for the cost.
