Battery Sporadically Reports No Charge To Windows Causing Shutdowns
Installation wasn't too difficult in an Omen 17t but I had to remove the speaker and storage to work around the battery.Ever since I installed the battery, though, I get random messages from Windows 10 that my battery is critically low and it shuts down the computer. I finally had to go into advanced power settings and disable the action for critically low battery when plugged in. That just stopped the shutdown, though, and the message still appears sometimes. The battery is at 100%, the message appears, then the icon for battery shows it's charging for a very short time, then it shows 100% again. So I'm guessing that the battery has issues consistently reporting battery level and those dropouts are the cause of the problem.I will monitor the problem for a few more days but if it continues I will return the battery since this behavior is unacceptable.

Dead on Arrival
Removed my old battery, plugged in the power cord and my laptop works. Put in this new battery, let it charge for three hours and nothing. No lights, no beeps, nothing. I unplug the battery, plug in the power and the laptop powers up just fine. I can only assume that the battery is bad or that it is in fact not compatible with my laptop as it claims.
