Works well as a leather hammer when you don't have a good leather hammer of the trade
As a carpenter I did not buy this for construction or automotive but works well when used as a leather tool. this can serve as an alternative for other things and buy a professional leather hammer tool later.

Durable. Right Tool for Certain Jobs
Very well made. Just laid 1,000 sqft of Vinyl planking and used this mallet for hammering. Still looks brand new and rock solid. Did it's job extremely well. Highly Recommend

Perfect around the house mallet -- can be used on particle wood, too!
I had bought a pantry closet. Some of the shelves needed to "snap" into place, but neither myself nor anyone in my household could get the particle wood shelves to snap in. After much deliberation, I purchased this mallet to wack them into place. I used the mallet to "hammer" the shelves into place. No damage to the shelving, easy to handle, and the perfect size for small spaces. This mallet appears to be sturdy enough to be used in applications that would normally require a larger sized mallet, too.Wonderful around the house mallet. Highly recommend.

I was going to get the T*kton one but...
I saw a picture of it with the shaft smashed in. It was a hollow tube/pipe. Then I came across this one with a fiberglass handle. Feels lighter than the other wood handled rubber mallet that I have. I've used this to tap pieces into place without leaving a mark (like a metal hammer would). So far it's worked well. I haven't used it for heavier tapping but I feels like it would deliver well then.

VERY STURDY!
Great value for the money and it came in 2 days!! Hammer is VERY well built and super sturdy!!! So far is taking a pretty good beating and holding up well!

Works like you want it to
I used it to install SPC Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring in my home. It's not so heavy that it causes damage to the flooring, yet gets the job done with minimal effort. I found the translucent yellow end to be virtually indestructible, while the "softer" black end did suffer some damage/chipping during the installation.
