i think the people that give this camera 5 stars work for the maker of the camera.. its an alright camera. i dont know what other reviewer say ie... good value..kid's love it...lots of fun...light weight...good size... what has these got to do with camera review... the mic in the camera is very low sound recordered... picture quality just ok.... video ok...its just an ok camera nothing to brag about...and to have to open the battery compartment to charge the battery is a joke...after working with this camera for 2 days i finally threw it away in the trash...

I got this camera last minute before a camping trip after my old Pentax water camera finally died. This camera takes good pictures and had no problems with the rain and kayak trips. My biggest complaint would be taking close up and macro pics. This area is not the cameras strong point. With that said for the price of this camera it’s a great deal.

No so clear pictures worked well for the purpose. Video was nice but again the quality of picture is not the greatest.

The media could not be loaded.  It is our first underwater camera, and it is also a gift for my son as a beginner camera. It's fairly easy to operate for kids and takes good quality pictures. He learnt quickly and enjoyed taking pictures using his new device. The black camera looks very cool, and comes with a bag and two batteries! Since it is waterproof, you can also use it on rainy days. Cannot wait to go swimming some day with it to shoot some underwater pictures! A reminder is that you have to provide your own memory card to store your pictures since this camera does not come with a card. A great buy!

I tested this out in the hotel room and the pictures were of such poor quality I didn't even end up bringing it out to the water. The pictures were very blurry and there was a very long delay from when I hit the button to when it took the picture. I knew I would have been frustrated fiddling with it in the water with the sea turtles and missing all the action shots so I left it behind. Unfortunately, I was travelling and so I missed the return window.

It is okay for kids up to say 10 or 11 who really won't save the pictures or care the quality. AND it saves wear and tear on your's

Do not buy! We used this camera only a couple of times. We didn’t even take it under water. In a few months the zoom knob broke off. I have contacted the customer service multiple times since it is supposed to be under warranty for one year. NO response...not even acknowledgment of my email. Do not buy...you are wasting your money!

Took this to Hawaii and it was awesome. Truly waterproof. Takes pretty good pictures.
