Liquid Feeder Mega - 10 mL, Set of 2 Feeders

I own and use four mega feeders and over 20 micro feeders and they are an amazing product. I have one each mega with Pogonomyrmex badius (Florida Harvester Ants) and Camponotus floridanus (Florida Carpenter Ant), the two largest species of ants in Florida, and the larger ants use them with no problem. I also have two mega, one with the original base and the other with the experimental base that I believe are now the standard bases being shipped, with my Nylanderia bourbonica (Robust Crazy Ants). The smaller crazy ants absolutely love the new mega bases and definitely prefer the new bases, which I determined by swapping the two bases on opposite sides of the formicarium and there is no question that the crazy ants prefer the new base and are draining that unit much faster than the older base with the ants choosing the new base no matter how I place them. The mega size is definitely worth the money since you aren't constantly swapping out smaller units. A colony of 700-800 crazy ants are taking a week to bring two of the new based mega feeder is almost empty. In the pic the mega feeder with the crazy ants hanging out is with the new base. Definitely give these a try, you'll likely dump whatever water system you're currently using.

These are superbly crafted. I am using them for velvet ants (large wingless wasps). They serve the purpose admirably. At first, I thought mine was leaking, but the honey/water mixture I had added was fermenting, causing gaseous pressure to build up and push the liquid out. I contacted the seller. He explained this, and I started using sugar water instead. No more leaks.I have seen the velvet ants access the nectar wells upside down and sideways, not just right side up. Great product, great support from the seller.

Habe schon so einige Sachen von ''byFormica'' gekauft. Und werde, wenn es sich ergibt und nötig wird auch weiterhin Dinge kaufen.

Tengo otros bebederos de esta marca que tienen infinitamente mejores acabados que estos. Estos vienen con restos y filamentos en las entradas al bebedero que impiden que pasen hormigas de tamaño medio y grandes. Se lo comunico al vendedor y se limita a decir que son originales sin aportar otra solución. Mal producto y mal vendedor, no lo recomiendo.
